Jury nullification by the grand jury.Reminds me of the man who faced grand jury but got no billed,
after shooting burglars that were not on his property but his neighbor's!
What made it worse, was the two men were "undocumented aliens"
Joe Horn shooting controversy - Wikipedia
If you can imagine the controversy on both sides of this case,
coming out of Houston, TX:
* The whole debate over "stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" which didn't even
apply here, since the man wasn't defending himself or his own property but next door.
* Coupled with the outrage at crimes by noncitizens who aren't here legally
in the first place (but common in a city like Houston known for its Sanctuary policy to try to protect
the minority communities from criminals exploiting victims who are afraid to report to authorities).
* Not to mention the races of the people involved. And Pasadena is one of the
areas where the Klan history and good ole boy systems are well established.
