This video gives a very good breakdown and background on how religion if fueling the Iran war from within the White House and how Israel fits into the equation.

Here is the description from the video...

There are various reports of US military commanders telling their soldiers that the purpose of the Iran War is to bring about armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ. Pete Hegseth is himself an evangelical nut with two Christian fundamentalist tattoos, and there is a "White House Faith Office" run by an evangelist war-nut. Zionism (Jewish and Christian) is all about this stuff. So what if the Iran War is not actually a "rational-secular" war of the neocons for the purpose of projecting US power, but if it's an irrational war of religious fanatics who want the war for war's sake because that is part of god's divine plan? This would change the calculations about the nature of this travesty fundamentally.... and it might put Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque in direct danger.

OK, but......while I agree there is certainly as aspect to that, how does it explain funding Israel's war with Palestine?

One would have to believe in the Apocalypse/End of the World as discussed in the Bible for that to truly be a concern. For those of us who see a totally different end/reincarnation for this world, it doesn’t mean much.

If the Iranian mullahs would have been familiar with the Book of Esther, they would have known the fate Haman and his cronies and would have known to get out of dodge before Purim.

They could be sipping tea and eating rice with their fellow Axis of Evil leader in Pyongyang, instead of dealing with their 72 virgins.

Left wing nonsense. The religious basis for the war is The Iran regime's theology.

Iran seeks to dominate the middle east under on Pan Arab Nation run by them. This will come about after an apocalypse brings forth the great Muslim Prophet who will convert or kill all Jews and Christians. The apocalypse will be caused by Irans offensive nuclear bomb program. They will attack Israel and America with nukes and use them to threaten any Arab nation that doesnt surrender to them.
This is the theology of madmen who murder 30000 of their own people without a thought.
The good news is that never going to happen now as America asserts its rightful place in the world order defending freedom democracy and capitalism. Were back baby watch out this is just the begining

Those 'complaints' originated from an organization that was founded based on the founder's hate of the 'religious right'. A Christian hating Jew, Mikey Weinstein, who founded the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. Let him and his organization prove anything they've told the 'media'.

St. Martins Press in New York released Mikey’s book, “With God On Our Side: One Man’s War Against an Evangelical Coup in America’s Military” in October 2006. The paperback version was released in February 2008 with the Foreword being written by Ambassador Joseph Wilson IV. The book is an expose on the systemic problem of religious intolerance throughout the United States armed forces. At this time, Mikey also made his international film debut in the Hollywood adaptation of James Carroll’s New York Times best selling book detailing the 2,000 year bloody history between the Church and the Jews, entitled “Constantine’s Sword”, and directed by Oscar nominee Oren Jacoby.

In January, 2012, Mikey’s latest book “No Snowflake in an Avalanche: The Military Religious Freedom Foundation, its Battle to Defend the Constitution, and One Family’s Courageous War Against Religious Extremism in High Places” was released. It details MRFF’s prominent case studies, struggles, and the violent reactions to MRFF advocacy.

Reviled by the radical fundamentalist Christian far-right, Mikey has been given many names by his enemies including “Satan”, “Satan’s lawyer”, “the Antichrist”, “That Godless, Secular Leftist”, “Antagonizer of All Christians”, “Most Dangerous Man in America” and “Field General of the Godless Armies of Satan”.

Of course it's a holy war. It has been since 1948. And will be till Christ returns.

All you secularist's can whine and ***** about it, but you can't change it. It is all about Israel and what God is doing with her.

And, God, the God of the Bible will have His way.

If God is doing it, he doesn't need us.

If God is doing it, he doesn't need us.

Au contraire. God uses man and nations to do His will. Whether they agree with it or not. Whether they know it or not. God.

If God is doing it, he can do it without us or you don't truly believe in God and just using him as a crutch.

Oh, I truly believe in the God of the Bible. Which is why I said what I said. God moves the nations the way He wants. Your opinion of God is contrary to what the Bible says. Thus it is just so much bullshit.

God did everything in the Bible, even creating the world, all without the U.S.

He sure did. But once he created the nations, Israel included, He would move the nations at His will. God.

The current Iranian leadership aren't just Muslims, they are Twelver Shia muslims of the most radical bent.

That's the religious reason why they refused to avoid this war by refusing to negotiate with President Trump.

They thought they were ushering in the apocalypse, and that's why they violated their agreement to enrich their plutonium supplies to make H-Bombs and ICBM's.

President Trump wasn't going to wait for them to attack, that's just not how he operates.

You don't have to believe it, but that is the testimony of the Bible. God sent the Assyrian against Israel and the Assyrian didn't know he was doing the will of God.

(Isaiah 10:5-7) "O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few."

(Isaiah 10:11-12) "Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the King of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks."

It doesn't matter to God if He gets the credit or not. His will is always done.
