More reality; the business models of the auto industry rely on service after the sale in terms of warranty work, parts being available, and even loyalty and trade-in values on the secondary market. A major car company going bankrupt jeopardizes not only the company but everyone who has purchased a vehicle in recent years.

Again; you guys are either too stupid to learn or too lazy to understand.

The only success out of that list is killing bin laden. To bad he had to use information from water boarding to get the Intel to find out where he was. Then took over six months to decide to take him out. So if it wasn't for Bush he would still be alive.

Here is reality; most of the jobs saved were non-union from people who work at the dealerships to parts warehouses to the spin-offs. More reality; the business models of the auto industry rely on service after the sale in terms of warranty work, parts being available, and even loyalty and trade-in values on the secondary market. A major car company going bankrupt jeopardizes not only the company but everyone who has purchased a vehicle in recent years.

If you owned one of the tens of millions of GM cars on the road, losing your warranty, not being able to find factory parts, and not being able to trade your car in are major things. Meaning that some of their top dealerships would close down and the companies that supply everything from speakers for car stereos to airbags to spark plugs would suffer from losing most of their market share if GM went belly up as you guys said they should have.
