did you actually read that shit, rocks? it declares that CO2 is a feedback.
Antagon, reread the whole article. CO2 is a feedback to the Milankovic Cycles. The forcing of the Milankovic Cycles are really quite weak. Now, as we are burning fossil fuels, the CO2 thus generated is not a feedback, and represents a far stronger forcing in an orders of magnitude shorter time period than the Milankovic Cycles.
i dont get a lot of time on here anymore, but keep it real, rocks. we went over this...
The Vostok core, an ice driller declared, "turned the tide in the greenhouse gas controversy."(49) At the least it nailed down what one expert called an "emerging consensus that CO2 is an important component in the system of climatic feedbacks."
The Carbon Dioxide Greenhouse Effect
this is not any milankovic something or the other.
this is basic chemistry/physics. just like with water vapor, more CO2 is released from solution with ocean water when the water is warmer. try it with a soda (pop) 2-liter at different temps. carbonic acid (H2CO3) and water + CO2 gas are the same thing depending on the temperature and pressure.
do you mean to say that atmospheric CO2 is responsible for the winter/summer fluctuations in temperature, or would you agree that cold water will retain/absorb more CO2 in the winter and transpire more in the summer?
pursuant to that, what does the sawtooth in the plot above indicate that your high school chem teacher failed to?
could it be that temperature fluctuations attributable to other sources like the seasons responsible for the sawtooth effect in the plot might play into CO2 levels in the atmosphere based on the basic physical realities of water and CO2?
