wtf? do you CARE more for politicians than the AMERCIAN TAXPAYERS?
this man was ALREADY GIVEN 800 billion dollars of OUR MONEY and NONE of it HELPED US. So you think we should give them MORE?
Sallow got that feel good feeling from obama's speech, it's like a drunk that just went on an all nighter. Ya'll have to excuse him for talking like a drunk
Um..no.
It was refreshing to see a man who could cognitively string paragraphs together after watching the Pugfest the night before.
There were actual lunatics on the stage running for president, like Bachmann, Cain and Paul.

so; as long as he sounds good, reads a teleprompter well and knows how to drop his R's and change his inflection at the right venue, he can be pretty lousy at his job, back slide on some major deeply held ideological promises and he'd get your vote anyway(?)......*shrugs*
clean and articulate gets you far in the progressive salons these days eh? I am surprised the guilt hasn't killed you all yet......
your intellectual vacuity is, astounding, really![]()
what was great about it, exactly?![]()

The first stimulus saved us from another Great Depression and created 17 straight months of private sector job growth. But it was too small. Now we need another stimulus to keep it going. But the Republicans are doing everything in their power to destroy the economy, so they can win the next election. There is no evil on this earth that the Republican Party won't support.

That is beyond spin, it's just horseshit. The Stimulus was predicted in Obama's budget to keep unemployment at an average of 8.1% in 2009, decrease it to 7.9% in 2010, and have it at 7.1% now.

Which might have been the case..had Bush's numbers been accurate.
They weren't. They were way off.

What "numbers" were way off? This is a new apologist spin I've never heard of before.

US Gov't: Recession $131B Worse Than We Thought - Project Economy News Story - WMUR New Hampshire
I'm also sure Bush UE numbers were off too.
What I see is there are not enough votes in the House to pass Stimpocolypse II

Ah.
You're blaming Bush for Obama's incompetence? That's hilarious!
