So that means you believe that the 'socialist' elements imposed on the laissez-faire capitalism of a century or so ago are what's wrong with modern day capitalism?

Many of them. Care to debate that issue?

NOne. That's exactly my point.

YOu might be able to Monkey Proof something, but you can't ever "Human-Proof" it.

So a system that is best is one which auto-corrects.

If someone uses a program meant for a short term help to have a life time of smoking crack and watching TV, you should do something about that.

If someone starts a rumor on the Stock Market to tank a company's stock because he's selling short, something should be done about that, too.

Capitalism is based on the human desire to improve and excell, but it can be corrupted by greed.

Socialism is based on the human desire to help people and be fair, but it can be corrupted by the need to dominate...

We are usually our own worst enemies.
