Both are bad.... Yes Europe is larger but EU is still expanding....
Neither is going to sweat 0.2 when we are multiples offf the replacement rate...
In reality, both countries are using immigration to replenish...
EU difference with US is that they are educating immigrants to same standard as there natives... They are doing way better on integration (despite the RW BS stories) than US....
Generally speaking, EU has a way higher priority on integration than US... Example, All new build house estates have to have 30% of housing given to Social and Affordable housing in Ireland... Immigrants & poor live in these houses among wealthier, they goto the same schools, play on same teams...
This is for betterment of society. There is the odd bad estate (usually to house the real problem cases (the 2-3%))
So imagine all new residential building giving 30% to live in the same community.. I don't think Americans could grasp that...
