Germany is very different.. There is a very deep shame in the country of what happened in WW2. This is very raw for them..

They don't give a **** about freedom of expression when compared to what they did...

This is a different thinking to US... Germans still go to the graves of the holocaust and cry in shame, still to this day... It is a national grief for what they did...

AfD is extremely offensive to a lot of Germans, there is nothing like it... I don't think we get it, it is so individual to them

This is not US, this is Germany... If they show proof of antiseptic and islamaphobic behaviour then under Germany Law they are defined as extremist...
I have funny feeling these guys aren't going to court with nothing...

This is done very different in Europe... The courts are no politicised like in US... This will be decided by the law that is written... No conservative or liberal judges, the law in EU is a lot longer and more precise, much less wiggle room....
There is no who appointed them...

There is also the ECJ which is European which sits above German law as well... This where in you loose nationally it can be appealed, this is how you take on governments.... It gives individuals(EU Citizens) the right to sue their own government (among other things), this has and is one of the most powerful thing EU gives to its people and judgements in the past has changed countries...

So no matter how many votes AfD got, they are been accused of this behaviour and they are been brought to court... No saved by the electorate... None of that, it is down to evidence and facts.. Truth is the power...

It's difficult because far-right and far-left will say anything and do anything to get what they want, whereas democratic parties have to follow some kind of moral code. Those without scruples will rise to the top.

So, democratic parties need to get some teeth.

Investigate them, like you would any other crime... Germany due to its past has stricter laws than US on what can be said...

Bring them into court and make a case... There is no special case of interference in politics.

EU Citizens were pretty surprised at the way Trump was allowed to behave threaten witnesses and officers of the court in his case. His bail would have been revoked immediately. EU couldn't understand how much powerful people are let away with things in US.
Trump would have been tried not matter if elected or not... He would go to Jail, President or not... The law is equal for all, there is no I got elected therefore I get a 'Get of Jail Free' Card....

You saw it in France a few weeks ago... A lot countries in EU has jailed present or former powerful politicians convicted at some point... Power doesn't mean you can ignore facts and evidence....

In this way we are very different...

Nearly ths same - anti-American and pro-Putin - is the so called BSW (Bündnis Sarah Wagenknecht = Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance). The political party "Die Linke" ("The left") lost 2/3rd of their voters to this political party. I guess this voters are "victims" of so called "rope teams" (Seilschaften) which still exist from the Soviet times.

You are right, if 24% vote for the KKK it doesn't mean they are racist organisation... They have got better marketing and usually a distorted media...

If these loose the case they probably keep there voting but there would be special curbs in the media, e.g. possible ban on interviews, warning notice before they appear on shows, interviewers have to ask them to verify every statements, in UK Sinn Fein were dubbed with actors voice, strict campaign funding social media ban...

They treat them like extremist organisation... Ir connected to violence their members are investigated, org fined... Everyone gets a Tax audit... CAB could even be called in (Criminal Asset Bureau)

They can legally make life really hard... This will come from the courts not the police or politicians...

I really like the way Germany are taking this on...

They have the advantage of a trusted media in West Germany. They have a lot of work to do in East Germany who have tendencies towards the stronger Communist leader type (Putin plays that role).

What Germany agencies are doing is just exposing their activities and they know they have Judges that will not wilt to powerful people or organisations...

I can't describe how much European were puzzled on how Trump could have a press conference outside the court basically criticising the court and jury... Any Judge would have the bailiff bring him in and Judge would most likely put him in an orange suit and cuffs immediately..
