I remember when they were coming. ------I is old----they were flooding into the USA in the 1950s-----ALL CHRISTIANS I actually thought that Syria was a christian country with an extra line in their cross

i THINK they came TO USA from Lebanon, WHICH IS A HUGE MESS TODAY ...

The Lebanese christians in my town were very benign and
still are. They are the odd men out in the arab enclaves---
in a kind of humorous way. They mingle with the "other
arabs" but wear big crosses and do "business" with
DA JOOOS ----as grocers, mostly. Post 9-11-01 I was
delighted to see a sign in an "arab grocery" -----
"CLOSED ON SUNDAY"----as a counterpoint to the
signs in muslim stores "closed friday morning for prayer"

they´d go to Brazil or Chile, in USA people see them as MENA folk so they prefer to live with the Muslim arabs , whats about Turks, Persians in your city ? are they integrated ?
