They say he was no Islamist and thus it was not a terrorist attack. Whatever his motives were, it was definitely a terrorist attack.
They never asked where the murderer has his gun from and ignored witnesses reporting he was yelling "Allah akbar".

They are now investigating a 16 yr old afghan and possibly another of similar age who lives in Stuttgart who had been in contact with ? Met him, and who allegedly had weapons too and was planning his own attack. At first it seemed these reports were about the same boy, but it seems maybe not ?one lives in Munich and the other in Stuttgart?

...Police in Munich say they have arrested a 16-year-old Afghan friend of David Ali Sonboly, who killed nine people at a Munich shopping centre on Friday.
They say the teenager met the gunman shortly before the attack, knew Sonboly had a gun and knew that the gunman was interested in Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik.
Sonboly, 18, had been planning his attack for a year, police said earlier.....

A terror attack plot on a school in Stuttgart has been foiled by German police who found knives, explosives and bullets in a 15-year-old boy's home.
He is also reported to have had contact online with Ali Sonboly, the teenager who shot dead nine people in Munich on Friday.
The plan to carry out a deadly assault comes as Germany remains in a state of high alert following a series of deadly attacks in the last fortnight.
The boy was arrested after the arsenal of weapons were found in the Ludwigsburg district of Stuttgart....
