"Black lives matter" is countered with "all lives matter". The counter-argument is that "black lives matter" excludes everyone who isn't black and that we all matter.

"Blue lives matter" is not countered with "all lives matter". By the same reasoning, shouldn't the counter-argument be that "blue lives matter" excludes everyone who isn't a police officer (who obviously come in all races). Don't we ALL matter even though we are not all police officers?

The question isn't if there is a difference between race and occupation, but if these statements are excluding or not. I don't see how one excludes while the other does not.
