Hollywood elitist and longtime Democrat activist George Clooney has officially joined the growing list of wealthy, left-wing celebrities who preach “American values” while quietly distancing themselves from the United States.
Clooney, along with his wife, Amal Alamuddin Clooney, and their two children, has reportedly obtained French citizenship through a naturalization decree.
The couple’s 8-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, were included in the process.
According to Fox News, the Clooney's uprooted their family from Los Angeles to escape what Clooney described as the “culture of Hollywood,” the very system that made him rich, famous, and politically influential.

He has owned the estate there, since 1999. He has actually lived there for years. Is there some surprise? He was previously living in Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley of California. If money and deep ties are no problem, who would not want to get out of California? An estate in France has to be better. Could you get a 425 acre estate, with a lake, a 25 acre vinyard, and various recreational facilities on property for $8.2 million in California. Violent crime rate in Brignoles, France lower than 1.4 /100,000. Sounds like a good move. I think he can easily fly back if he feels the need to do another movie here, which he probably does not.

As Breitbart News reported, George Clooney, his wife, British-Lebanese lawyer Amal Alamuddin Clooney, alongside twin children Ella and Alexander were all granted French citizenship in December as per the contents of a naturalization decree published by the Official Journal of the French Republic on Saturday, December 27.

Commentary:
We’re not complaining about George slinking away to France.
If you really want something to really complain about, let it be all the Muslims your government allows to “slip in” and stay. Clooney’s all whine and not about to get his hands dirty. Unlike your lovely Muslims, he ain’t gonna blow something up or go on a stabbing spree. He’s actually made for French culture, talks big and makes a hasty retreat.

It's not a long way---maybe a hundred miles. LOL, I suspect he didn't like the conservative gov't in Italy after the last election there.

I sometimes find Clooney to be a bit funny. Some of his movies manage to be entertaining despite their tendency to be kinda preachy. He always seems a bit smug. I don’t give a crap about his decision to take French citizenship.
