I have had the opportunity to both form and follow gay families. The children grow up to be dysfunctional adults. Ironically with the same pathologies as children from any one parent household. Therapy helps.

I care about all kids who deserve a stable two parent home where both adults are there legal guardians. Same sex couples provide that security as well as heterosexuals do.

There is considerable research that shows that having opposite sex parents vs same sex parents is not a factor in chidrens social and emotional development. And not allowing gay marriage and same sex parenting will not increase the number of kids who have a mother and a father. If you have anything to contradict either of those points, bring it on

Consanguineous marriage is a major leap beyond the legal and social norms that we are accustomed to.. So, no I do not see this becoming an issue, but if it does, that we will go down the legal and social path ro determine if it is something that is desirable and acceptable as we did with same sex marriage.. Sexual norms and values does in fact evolve for many reasons .and the acceptance of gay marriage is part of that evolution, not the cause .In any case it is not a reason to deny same sex marriage

So what? Many couples regardless of their respective genders cannot make a baby. If you are using that as a reason why gays should not be allowed to marry, then can we assume that infertal straight couples should also not marry?
