Gavin Newsom's precious smelt

While Texas celebrates another Space X launch today California a liberal pipe dream that Musk fled with his company sits in the ashes of liberal ruin....
When will the people of California wake up?...

I dont know, but not that many.
I think that THAT is their resoning though. The little Delta Smelt being part of the food chain, to feed the sea birds and such....

At some point we should have built more resevoiurs long ago.
The Delta Smelt is an invasive foreign species. It is not native to California,

That looks like what we used to pull out of the Cross-Florida Barge Canal.
My cousin had a private spot. We could catch enough for 20 people in an hour.
None that big. Fuck the government. He dug that pond and stocked it. With several different catches so it wasn't all inbred n stuff.

So you are unfamiliar with the extremely porous ground that results in massive losses of water in reservoirs.

Diamond valley lake is a good example of water loss due to the porous nature of the ground.

All the great places for reservoirs are gone.

We have plenty of water. No amount of water would of put this fire out. Maybe it would of saved some houses.

No water is an excuse. They needed a fire break that the fire could not breach.

There is a thread about Gavin's smelt. Want to see his smelt? I want you to know all about smelt. First a photo.

Looks yummy heh? How about dinner? And Newsom thinks they are so special. I mean he will spend millions on those tiny fish. Would you endorse spending millions on those tiny fish?

1,000 miles away ??? ... Bubba didn't finish Middle School ... geez, why not use Mississippi River water then ...
Maybe it was that far from you. But the water he now freed to simply run off could be piped or using a canal reach to fight fires. PS, it is 657 miles to Pacific Palisades to the Klamath River.

Through the Klamath MOUNTAINS ... it's easier getting water from the Mississippi River ... Lord knows that's rough country there ...

Either way, the only way to get more water to Southern California is to take it away from farmers ... does that sound smart to you? ... just so rich folks can build expensive mansions in the chaparral ...

Oregon recommends clear cutting everything within 100 feet of your home ... and keeping the grass mowed to two inches tall in that 100 foot radius area ... California doesn't seem to have that guideline ... look at the before and after photos, did folks provide any defensible space? ...

No amount of sweet water stops 100 mph Santa Anas ... you should know that ...

Why don't Democrats and the news go nuts wanting to learn who started such fires? All they talk about is winds. Winds do not start fires.
So you think crossing the Sierras and the Rockies thousands of miles to the Mississippi is easier?

I lived in CA and have many times been in the Klamath area. So I know well that after those hills, you drop to the Sacramento Valley that is a clear path to Southern Ca.

Hey stupid ... the SACRAMENTO River flows down the SACRAMENTO River Valley ...

Hey Stupid ... the Sierras end north of Los Angeles ...

Hey Stupid ... Mount Shasta ...

The biggest obstacle east would be the Colorado River ... blinded by your own hatred ...

What's the real story? The media seems to shy away from it. It can't be about minnows that aren't even endangered, can it? Why would California allow precious fresh water to run into the Pacific?

Farmers ...

They pump water right out of the rivers and distributaries ... if that's sea water, then they're bankrupt ...

Remember ... NO rain in summer ... pump the water to SoCal and the Pacific Ocean will reach in ... easy peasy ...
