Gas up 18% since election, could surpass $4 under Biden

11 Feb 021 ~~ By Paul Bedard

By the time America gets back to work, and traffic jams, gas prices under the Biden administration could be heading back to $4 thanks to new climate regulations, the president’s shutdown of energy mining on federal lands, and overseas production cuts.
Industry experts believe that as the coronavirus vaccine becomes widely available, offices will start to fill up, as will gas stations.
But the supply may not be there because of production cutbacks, Biden’s new rules, and moves overseas to slow production to match low usage.

More job losses, higher prices on everything, runaway inflation, illegals pouring over the borders in mass waves, more restrictions on travel ............... what’s not for a Dem to love?

has anybody blamed trump yet?
You could never do that since during Trump gas went from .97 cents a gallon in April to $1.79 in December.

link cupcake?
Were you not alive last April or December?

Only public schoolers answer a question with a question.

Sad really.

Just admit you made it up and have no data to support your wishes (like CNN and MSNBC), shut up, and move on darling.

Or prove it?

IAWs, you don't have a rebuttal worth anything to that simple Business response that ALL businesses live by.

The Democrats want the price of gas to go a hell of a lot higher than that. They want it at $10+

Back in early January I was paying 60 cents less a gallon for gas than after this China Joe piece of shit took office.

It is not a supply problem. It is Illegitimate President Shit for Brains blabbing his mouth about stupid economy busting Environmental Wacko bullshit.

Anybody that voted for China Joe is a friggin idiot.

I just wonder who they're going to blame? The Saudis who the meat puppet ****** bowed to, the Iranians who controlled that ******* apeish caricature Valerie Jarret who had her hand up the meat puppet ******'s ass for 8 years? **** no... they will spin this shit as Trump's fault like the blamed Bush for every fuckin problem that the meat puppet ****** prolonged. They're already doing their damndest to blame all the nation's riots on Trump when the rest of us know the meat puppet ****** Queen Antifa and his leftist minions are responsible for the state of decline.

Climate regulations have nothing to do with a depressed oil industry who's producers have stopped producing since last year. Prices do have everything to do with oil production being decreased by OPEC.
We were beyond opec leverage under trump. Biden and his commie seditionists have made opec a bigger player again.
Democrats should be incarcerated at GITMO.
The overproduction of oil in 2019 only caused more problems before the depressed prices over the Covid pandemic. OPEC cut production in 2020 before Biden was president. I would hate to think you do any investment counseling.
OPEC played with their spigots on multiple occasions and ultimately had little impact once we became energy independent.
Only investment traders like oil price increases because they’re wealthy enough to not feel the impact in their general welfare.

Of course energy costs will go up, we've got Obama 2.0

"under my cap-and-trade plan, energy costs will necessarily skyrocket"

People forget very easily, apparently, what Obama's full agenda really looked like. He traded a lot/most of it for Obamacare and ended up getting his ass handed to him in the mid-terms as people were pissed about that, but a great deal of what he set out to do was stopped dead in its tracks and of course, now he likes to smile over the economic expansion that occurred in large part despite what he actually wanted to.

That was the result of glut. You’re either really stupid or just being dishonestly obtuse.
Is was due to the Pandemic and a drop in gas usage. Duh.
The glut was. The previous drop was due to enhanced supply thanks to fracking and removing regulations.

$3.55 regular...here....food will also go up since its all shipped by truck...isn't this a nice time to take away tax cuts and cancel the pipeline and ending drilling?...I mean since the people are already hurting what's a little more pain at the pump and in the grocery store...."come on man"...

DRive more, you use more gas, prices go up. What part of econ 101 are you having trouble with is it the 1, the zero or the 1?

Are trying to tell us production has nothing to do with price?
Anyone with a brain knows that when a product,no matter what it is,becomes more scarce the price goes up.
This is simple economics.

The pipeline they were building wasn't for oil to make into fuel.

Lack of supply=higher prices.
Are you going to deny that?

Rig count is down- why? Too many rigs? Not a good enough ROI? There's a lot more to the *problem* than meets the eye- regulation is a big one- over regulation is a bigger one- the idiots in DC have useful idiots as advisors- even the *other guys* have them- markets are self correcting when a free market is in effect- idiots create problems to solve the problems they create with more problems- it ain't rocket science.

Gas was $3.99/gal. here in '08. It was a W. thing. I started growing my hair that year. When my co-workers would ask "When are you going to get a haircut?" I'd tell them that I was saving money on haircuts to make up for the gas prices, that I'd get it cut when gas went below $2. It took so long to go below $2, that everyone forgot.
