Gang shooting at a memorial...what are the odds the shooters should have been in jail already?

This is the problem in our democrat party run cities....they keep letting repeat gun offenders out of jail, and then they go out and....of course...shoot more people. If the democrat party would stop releasing these violent gun offenders, the gun crime rate in democrat party controlled cities would go down.......

And, of course, the shooters likely were not able to buy their guns legally.....but ignored the extreme gun control laws in Chicago.......

Meanwhile, another 600 million guns in private hands, and over 18.6 million law abiding people carrying guns for self defense...didn't shoot at anyone, for any reason...

BREAKING: 13 People Shot During a Memorial in Chicago

A shooting broke out in Chicago's South Side neighborhood shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning. A total of 13 victims, ranging in age from 16 to 48, suffered “different and various gunshot wounds to their bodies," police told the Associated Press.


According to Chief of Patrol Fred Waller, the shooting began at the party, which was a memorial for a person who was murdered back in April.

"This incident stemmed from a dispute within that party," Waller said. "This party was given in the memory of a subject that was slain in April. We're still developing details as far as that goes."

There are three locations where the shooting took place. It began inside the residence, outside once partygoers began fleeing the scene and again in a nearby area.

Police also believe that one person fired back at the attackers once they fled the home.

"Then a vehicle was driving down the street. One of the people also who left the residence fired upon this vehicle," Waller said. "So we had three different scenes, all within a close proximity."

Police are considering this an isolated incident and not gang-related.

^^^ Whether it is gang related or not, it is still a shooting and what gets to me is the kind of event that it interrupted. Sadly when people come together for any reason, that only makes it easier for a complete and total psycho, if there aren't more than one, to go and do whatever they want to: school shootings, club shootings, concert shootings, church shootings, movie theater shootings, store shootings, memorial gathering shootings etc.

Not too long ago around here a gramma attending a memorial in the hood for her grandson, who’d recently been shot dead on the street, was herself shot when fellow grieves opened fire for some reason. Not life threatening as I recall but Nana got a brand new scar!
