Gaetz allegedly flew 2 women to New York, paid them for sex.....Living the life!

Of course you just ignore the hypocrisy that was the point of my post, good job lemming!

No I didn't. I asked if you were going to be hypocritical here also.

If you can show me a politician advocating for legalized prostitution and then condemning Gaetz for participating in that, I will absolutely agree that is hypocritical.

And to answer your question, those that are out there advocating for the legalization of drugs shouldn't then be turning around and applauding the book being thrown at someone that traffics them. It's call HYPOCRISY.

No they shouldn't and similar along those lines is why I condemned Harris and her actions as a prosecutor.

That is correct, the GOP is no longer the Party of God(s).

Hey, you finally get it, good job! Bummer for you since you'll now have to find something else to bash them for, eh?

"Long standing checks and balances" like the filibuster that Democrats want to abolish?

That is actually Constitutional if they want to. It's sad how many do not understand these things.

Congress was gave the ability to create and change the rules they operate on. If they want to end the filibuster they have the Constitutional right to do that.

No, we've just finally agreed that our religious views have no place in government and should not be crammed down everyone else's throat. You should be happy, you obtained your goal, yet for some reason you're not, why is that? Rhetorical question of course, we all know why.

Now it's the left shoving their morals down everyone's throat and they will be held to their purported 'standards' that they've worked so hard to force on the country for the last 4 decades. The worm has turned, you just obviously don't understand that yet.
Now you see what Khruschev meant.

Hey, you finally get it, good job! Bummer for you since you'll now have to find something else to bash them for, eh?

My question for them is this:

"why appeal to something as a moral construct if you have already discarded it as useless and irrelevant?"

What legalized prostitution are you whining about? Provide any evidence you have for Gaetz participating in such a thing before you decide he is guilty.

And your evidence is....?

Nobody really wants to end that because nobody is certain what the next election will bring in the way of majority. The filibuster is probably the most intelligent insertion of check and balance in the entire construct of check and balance.

Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, former Rep. Matt Gaetz, allegedly paid for two women in 2019 to travel to New York to have sex, watch his appearance on Fox News, and attend the Broadway show "Pretty Woman," an attorney for the women told ABC News.

In an interview with ABC News' Juju Chang, Florida attorney Joel Leppard revealed new details regarding his clients' closed-door testimony before the private bipartisan committee -- including that his clients told congressional investigators that Gaetz paid for them to travel across state lines to have sex on at least two occasions.

The attorney also said that the women provided the committee with text messages they allegedly exchanged with Gaetz about the acquisition of drugs and payments that the attorney said were, in part, for sex.

Even if true....I'm not even mad....Their body, their choice....Am I right?

I mean everybody knows that politicians screw people. At least the whores got paid for it and got to enjoy a show to boot.

LOL.....It looks like this whole thing is shaping up to be Kavanaugh 2.0 and that's fine by me.

Sounds like Hillary's Russian Dossier pee pee story about Trump.

That was quite the sidestep.

So, we agree that the Republicans should kill the filibuster. You are fine with that, right?

You can tell that lie all you want, but you supported both of the candidates who were 100% FOR forced vaccines.

And yet I did not. Strike three.

I've noted a good while who i voted for.

Sex is the favorite smear tactic for the DC solons
That want to discredit somebody. In this case Gaetz has as many Republican enemies as he does Democratic ones. I don't think any of them are celibate down there.... Probably why they know they can count on the sex charge.

Yup. except your quaint notion that anyone in the DOJ is non-political. Why do you think your party is having a cow over Gaetz's nomination? Because he once was banging prostitutes? LOL
I think it is republican senators having a cow.... And they are the ones that want the Ethics Investigation released before they have hearings or have to vote, and hope he will be withdrawn.

As I have said before, his poor judgement in illegal sexcapades is not solely disqualifying in Trump's Era,

He simply is NOT qualified or respected enough by who he serves, the American people, nor by his Trumper Republican colleagues in the House or Senate. He has zero experience running a department with well over 100,000 employees. Why would anyone sane or a Patriot, fight for Gaetz getting this job?

My question for them is this:

"why appeal to something as a moral construct if you have already discarded it as useless and irrelevant?"

Because they're hypocrites, and they'll use anything as a weapon against their enemies.

  • “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”
  • “Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
  • “Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
  • Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
  • “Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. ...
  • “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

I wasn't referencing politicians, I was referencing those on the left that don't think it should be a crime to begin with, you know, the ones that want to throw Gaetz in jail if was participating in it.

I don't recall anyone calling for him to be arrested so with that being the case, I can not comment on their position.

Sounds like Hillary's Russian Dossier pee pee story about Trump.

Well when you've had two years of counseling / coaching paid for by a government agency you should be able to deliver a fairly erudite accusation worded perfectly to fit prosecutorial law! After all 2 years of counseling is a pretty steep bill!

I never said he was guilty. Do you have my quote?
