Instead of running on an "I Love Pelosi and Progressives Platform", Jon Ossoff (D) has borrowed a page from Obama and is sounding like a fiscal Conservative and political Moderate. If Liberalism is a success, why is he running as a Republican?
"Local economic development and cutting wasteful government spending are Ossoff's talking points in a race against Republican Karen Handel that has shattered records as the most expensive congressional contest in U.S. history. Polls show it is headed for a tight finish in Tuesday's special election."
Do you have any doubt that if he's elected he'll vote 100% Liberal/Socialist? Why isn't he running on a Progressive platform?
In House race in Georgia, Democrats look for new path to power
In a red district of Georgia that is almost maroon, this is a warning shot across the bow. Trump continues to stumble and the midterms in 2018 will be blue all over the map for Congress. The buzz word to listen for: "pimaried".
Primary challenge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A
primary challenge occurs in
U.S. politics when an incumbent elected official is challenged in an upcoming
primary election by a member of his own
political party. Such events, known informally as "being primaried," are noteworthy and not frequent in the United States, as tradition dictates that members of a political party support officeholders of the same party, both for party unity and to minimize the possibility of loss of the seat to an opposing party.
