The Obama administration's Russian Foreign Policy was a complete and utter FAILURE from the very start.
The moment Hillary Clinton, Barry's New Sect of State, incompetently handed the Russian Ambassador a plastic 'Re-Set' Prop with the wrong word - 'Over-charge' instead of 'Re-set' in Russian on it, it was a disaster.
So it should be no surprise that the Obama administration, holdovers still working in the government, and Liberals have gone to so much trouble to ensure the new administration does not succeed / do any better than their dismal attempts.

Mr. Schweizer said the FBI warned tech companies in 2014 that Skolkovo was a mechanism for the Putin regime to steal U.S. industrial secrets."

All the while, huge sums of money from people connected to Uranium One and Rosatom were flowing into the Clinton Foundation, the $3 billion charity operating in nearly 30 countries. The Clinton Foundation has served as the ex-president’s networking hub. It finances his travels as he hobnobs at conferences and dinners with the rich in Europe and Asia. Mr. Schweizer reported that Uranium One’s chief, Ian Teller, funneled more than $2 million to the Clinton Foundation."

If liberals want to have a serious, non-partisan discussion about risky / dangerous / etc connections between Americans and Russians they need to read this article that gives a long list and details of Obama / Clinton US-Russian connections bound to make them feel squeamish and defensive.
