President LBJ’s style of negotiation dubbed ‘the Treatment’, described as “an incredible, potent mixture of persuasion, badgering, flattery, threats, reminders of past favors and future advantages.”

It was LBJ's war in Vietnam. He created the faked crisis and set the rules so that we could win every battle and still lose the freaking war. Just when it seemed that the U.S. finally wore down the V.C. after Tet, LBJ quit the effort on national T.V. and gave them a second wind. Democrats managed to blame Nixon for the whole thing.

Rubbish. He escalated in 1965, and in 1968 the VC were finished as a fighting force; it took less than 2 and a half years, as opposed to ike and JFK's screwing around for over 10 years and going nowhere. It was the military's and State dept. lies that made it a media victory for commie scum and their fans in the U.S.
