Fulbright Scholar has VISA revoked for criticizing Israel

It’s been covered, look it up.
I see no law that makes it illegal to criticize Israel.

She's not being charged with violating any law.

A Fulbright Scholar studying at Tufts was arrested by 6 masked plainclothes officers and whisked away to Louisiana.

The only thing we know of is that she signed an op-ed criticizing Israel.

I guess we shouldn't be chastising anyone else about free speech.
Once again, a dembot lies. The Govt is moving to revoke her visa because of her ties with a terrorist organization, not because of Israel.

Why do you lie? Why do you support terrorism?

Explain how she is tied to a terrorist organization.

Are you just trolling or are you going to actually have a discussion?

The real issue is freedom of speech.
No it's not. She's free to associate herself with terrorist organizations. She's just not free to be a visitor in the United States if she does.

Explain how she is tied to a terrorist organization.
Why? That's what the Govt is claiming. They will have their day in Court, just like she will.

But why are you lying and claiming it's about Israel? Your own link makes it clear what the accusations are.

Ask yourself why her visa was revoked.
Perhaps she wasn't forthcoming in her answers when she applied
for a visa to this great nation??????
Hmmmm, just ignore that marener, or whatever your name is.
It's what you do.

"There are many grounds of deportability, including criminal convictions, prostitution, domestic violence," Stephen Yale-Loehr, a retired immigration professor at Cornell University, told Newsweek. "One of the more obscure grounds that has existed for many years allows the secretary of State to put someone into deportation proceedings if the Secretary determines that that person's presence has serious adverse foreign policy consequences."

Is the administration admitting the courts have jurisdiction here?
When did they say Art 2 immigration courts don't have jurisdiction over this case? You seem very confused about what is going on, you should educate yourself, and get out of your dembot bubble.

This is what happens when you support terrorists instead of studying like you promised.
Perhaps, but it's a slippery slope. There must be a legitimate reason she has been detained and we all hope it is more than just her expressing her free speech. Trump cannot be known as the president who destroyed free speech or he is giving a gift to the future democrats who will shut down and/or control Twitter.

Israel is an ally and I will defend her right to exist, defend their right to defend themselves. I was one of the first on here doing so on Oct 7th even as some were their operating in their usual knee jerk reaction manner in which they blamed Israel, the nation under attack! That is shocking to me, but not surprising really.

That doesn't mean if the IDF dropped a bomb on a hospital (which they didn;t, but which Hamas tried to promote through propaganda) that their supporters shouldn't refrain from criticism and accountability. Nowhere is this louder than in Israel itself by the way, a thriving democracy in which debate and free speech is a core tenet of their nation.

Ditto for the mistake in which they fired and killed multiple Red Cross workers, all of them from other nations such as Australia and the U.K, The same people who had just a few weeks earlier been helping Israelis on Oct 7th. This doesn't mean we shouldn't be critical when Israel killed their own citizens by accident when they escaped and put their hands up (the IDF didn't trust them, feeling it was a trap). These instances hurt Israel early on in the war.

In fact, the transparency Israel has shown makes them a nation much easier to support especially in contrast to Hamas and their propaganda. All nations engage in it, but they still have Israeli citizens hostages, they lied about bombings of mosques and hospitals, they murdered children in captivity, close range and personal murder, not from a mile away. We know the evil Hamas engaged in and they cannot be allowed to remain in government there.

No one should celebrate the death of an innocent citizens be they man, woman or child, regardless of their religion or nationality. To be a Jew is a far greater set of obligations I assure you and they musn't forget this. Protect the innocent as best one can and fulfill the promotion of peace in the world. It is necessary.

They also cannot and must not back from from terrorism.
This doesn't mean they aren't going to make mistakes, I said from day one I didn't envy their task. They have lost many good young men protecting their nation. Israel must ensure it is the light on the world worth protecting.

There is probably alot more to this woman than we might initially believe. Time will tell I suppose.

Do you like a taste of your own medicine? And these are real. Progs need to reduce their rhetoric. This will make things a lot calmer.

Explain how this student is causing serious adverse foreign policy consequences.

You are stuck on Israel to try and make your point.
Israel is not the problem, it's the skirt who wasn't forthcoming with her answers
when applying for a visa.

Like I said, you ignore the facts and argue some other thread. :cuckoo:
Explain what you mean about being “forthcoming with her answers”. What questions and answers are you referring to?
