Harris’ campaign soon became a hotbed of drama and backbiting, with many staffers feeling torn between the rival factions.

I run an article within the last few weeks that forwarded a really shocking number. Not sure if it's an exaggeration but after some research it appears that approximately 98% of the people who have worked for her actually quit. That's pretty horrifying I think it's even worse than Trump's record which is also pretty bad.

Don't underestimate the team spirit element in American politics. Rather than depending on substance or commitment both of which can easily be attacked they depend on developing a sense of team. Once that has been established people are willing to sacrifice their own benefit in order to make sure their team wins.
