Despite the yellow vests and expressed desire of the people [Majority of French voters want lower taxes, end to privatization: poll] for lower taxes and "free" stuff, the gov't is moving ahead with the oh-so capitalist plan to put French biz in the hands of biz people. By admitting their intent is to "help our economy and prepare us for the future" they make clear that big, fat, corrupt central gov't IS NOT the best way to deliver products and services. That has been clear to all rational people for DECADES.
