The entire world has been collectivist forever. How do leftists call themselves progressive when they are against liberty and freedom? Progress is freedom. Progress is liberty. Progress is just another word they raped. Like liberal, racist etc.
Leftists are literally the dumbest people on earth. And there is no debate to be had with that. Never ever listen to a leftist. Being right is the good side of history and what it is to be an american. There is no debate to be had on that, either.

Our founders changed the world when they started this country. And leftists want to eradicate what they built. They say they dont want any kings, but they CRAVE a king.

The same reason Nazis called themselves "Democratic" National Socialists.

The Nazi party was the most progressive in all of Europe, creating National parks for the first time, passing legislation to protect animals and the environment for the first time, and passing gun record breaking gun registration laws.

Oh, and they hated Jews like the Left does as well.

At the core of humanity, they crave a king.

The God shaped void must be attempted to be filled.

History says I'm right BTW.

"against liberty and freedom"?

Who?

Where?

I won't argue

LOL Progressives think the govt taking over a large chunk of our economy, eliminating choice, and controlling our healthcare is progress.

LOL Progressives think eroding our rights to self defense is progress.

Like what?
healthcare, guns, redistribution, foreign aid, war, govt discrimination based on race, anti-private property policies such as capping rent or food prices, punishing success...
Those are all regressive, not progressive.

Rage baiting?

healthcare is not an erosion od rights, it should be a right.

The right to go to school without fearing for your life should be a thing as well, don't you think?

Foreign aide helps keep our nation secure.

There is no government discrimination based on race.

redistribution is a word you kids invented because you don't like helping people in need.

None of these things is regressive.

That was Bush.

And yes, it is.
Let's be fair. Pretty much all of the idiots voted for it.

The original USA PATRIOT Act of 2001 passed with overwhelming bipartisan support from both Republicans and Democrats in the House and the Senate.

The original USA PATRIOT Act expired in 2020, but many of its authorities were incorporated into the USA FREEDOM Act of 2015 and other legislation, meaning much of the surveillance framework and powers, particularly regarding intelligence gathering (like FISA Section 702), remain in effect, although reformed, with ongoing reauthorizations and debates. So, while the specific 2001 Act isn't fully active as written, its legacy and core surveillance tools persist through newer laws that govern national security data collection.

The entire world has been collectivist forever.
Are you sure about that?

No, the entire world has not been collectivist forever. Human societies have always varied along a spectrum of individualism versus collectivism, with different cultures emphasizing different values throughout history and across geographies.

Key Points on Individualism and Collectivism
  • A Sliding Scale: Cultures are not purely one or the other, but rather fall on a continuum. For example, the United States is considered one of the most individualistic societies, while many East Asian, Latin American, and African cultures tend to be more collectivist.
  • Historical Factors: The prevalence of individualism or collectivism is often tied to various factors, including:
    • Geography: Some theories suggest that geography (e.g., fragmented European landscapes vs. vast, connected landmasses in China) influenced the rise of competing kingdoms and innovation in the West, fostering individualism.
    • Food Production: Rice cultivation, which requires high levels of communal cooperation for irrigation, has been linked to more collectivist cultures in Asia, while wheat farming, an easier crop for individual families, is associated with individualism.
    • Philosophical Roots: Western philosophy has long debated the two concepts, with early influential expressions of modern collectivist ideas appearing in works like Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Du contrat social in 1762.
  • Modern Trends: Individualism appears to be rising in many societies worldwide, influenced by factors such as economic development, industrialization, and increased global connectivity.
  • Cultural Specificity: Even within a broadly "collectivist" country like China, the sheer diversity of its population means individual opinions and motivations vary widely. Similarly, the U.S. has diverse subcultures (e.g., some Native American groups) that are highly communal.
In essence, both individualism and collectivism are fundamental aspects of human organization, coexisting and shifting in prominence depending on cultural, historical, and environmental contexts.

It seems to me many people conflate health insurance with healthcare. Those are two different things. Which one are you talking about?

The right to go to school without fearing for your life should be a thing as well, don't you think?
What percentage of people attending school do you believe do so while fearing for their life? Because I can't imagine many of them do.

I'm not a fan.
