Listen to me carefully: just because Donald Trump is doing some unbelievable crap, that doesn't mean you have to do crap too. Switzerland has been a republic two or three times longer - or even four times longer - than the United States has even existed. Unlike in the United States, every Swiss citizen is taken very seriously and treated very fairly by all Swiss authorities.

As far as I understood: What he said about skeletons was not scientific - it was cynical - in sense "kill them and you will see". But this was not the only indicator. What's very clear: He was sentenced to pay some money. He did not pay. So he had to go for 10 days into prison. No concrete idea which alternatives he did not do. If someone has the feeling not to be judged in the right way then he will normally appeal against the judge's ruling.

I think it is scientific. Women have a differently shaped pelvis for childbirth. And I don't see where he said or implied "kill them and you'll see". Even if he was, why would you assume he meant gays? Couldn't a straight person be killed to see? Seems like it'd be simpler to just go find a mounted skeleton or ask an AI.

The fact that he was sentenced to pay money is irrelevant. Either people have free speech or they do not.

And I never heard from someone who preferred to go 10 days into prison instead to pay a little money.
