FDP health politician Andrew Ullmann expects vaccination refusers to face hefty fines after the introduction of a Corona vaccination requirement. "This will probably be punished as an administrative offense with a fine," he told the newspapers of the Funke media group (Sunday editions). "The framework will probably be based on the violation of the measles vaccination obligation."
Violations of the duty to vaccinate children against measles face fines of up to 2,500 euros. The traffic light parties want to bring a general Corona vaccination obligation at the beginning of 2022 parliamentary on the way. The new Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbach (SPD), also recently advocated fines.
