I see from the lack of any proof that a Republican has done this to a Democrat in the last twenty years McCain is correct. Demint says it is a load of crap in regards to Franken's excuse to boot. What are Republicans delaying? The final bill is not even available to be read yet. Reid wants a vote before anyone can get a full read on the bill and Obama is threating base closures and anything else he can think of to imdimate his own party members.
Please do!Dems, follow Al and disrespect Douch Lieberman every single time he tries to speak from now on. Get that idiot out as soon as you can!

While you're at it, cut off, disrespect and even threaten each and every opponent and show yourselves for the petty, arrogant, tin pot martinets you are.

For the click-phobic:
"Unfortunately, McCainÂ’s memory is suffering. In fact, McCain has engaged in the very same behavior that he was criticizing Franken for yesterday.
On October 10, 2002 — just ahead of the looming mid-term elections — the Senate rushed a debate on a war authorization giving President Bush the power to use force against Iraq. The resolution ultimately passed the Senate after midnight on an early Friday morning by a vote of 77-23.
During the course of the frenzied floor debate, then-Sen. Mark Dayton (D-MN) spoke in favor of an amendment offered by Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) that would have restricted BushÂ’s constitutional powers to wage war against Iraq. After a minute and a half, Dayton ran out of time, prompting this exchange:The PRESIDING OFFICER. The SenatorÂ’s time has expired.
Mr. DAYTON. I ask for unanimous consent that I have 30 seconds more to finish my remarks.
Mr. McCAIN. I object.

[Emphasis added] Mrs. Lieberman doesn't get a penny from 'Big Pharm'. But you read it in a blog somewhere, so you had to parrot it as thinking for yourself is not something you do.I bet that did a lot to secure Lieberman's vote.
I watched it on cspan and was shocked. This does not happen in the US senate.
This will come back to bite Franken and the democrats, wait and see.
Yes, because this, THIS, will be the nail in the coffin for him to not vote for Health Care. Because that makes Joe such a great guy for voting not by what's good for this country but politics.
Never mind how much his wife is getting from Big Pharm and how much he's flip flopped over the past four months. I do hope Joe does run as a Republican for reelection, because there's no way in hell he's going to rewin his seat.

and who was in control of that Senate?
and what Senate LEADER allowed the Resolution AND the Patriot Act to be passed without debate?
and who knew there was 2 sets of intel used to allowed the law to be passed?
and why do the Democrats...TO THIS VERY DAY...refuse to repeal the iraq War Resolution?
you and your party have no room to throw stones inside a glass house.
