Four prominent Republican women join forces to campaign against Trump in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Clearly she did.

Only folks that have suspended belief in reality bleev a thing she said.

Did the Secret Service 'Officially Debunk' Hutchinson's Testimony?

she testified under oath, both to the select committee & the DOJ. i am certain that the special prosecutor has brought in the SS & questioned them about that very thing.

since donny has been documented by first person witness' -as saying 'so what' re: his VP was in physical danger at the capital, as well as saying ' have them riot ' as he was watching the insurrection unfold on TV .

& you don't think he's incapable of doing what pence's assistant has stated under oath, twice?

okey dokey, mr. B :113:

Very good.

Unfortunately, there are far too few Republicans who understand the fact that Trump is unfit to be president.

And far too many Republicans who lack the courage to come out in opposition to Trump.
Unfortunately, you continue to breathe.

You’re one of the scumbags who won’t come out in opposition to Kamalalala.

". . . But the agent who drove Trump and Engel to and from the speech disputed Hutchinson’s testimony, saying he “did not see him reach [redacted]. [President Trump] never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all,” according to a copy of the full transcript provided to The Washington Post.

“You know, what stood out was the irritation in his voice more than — more than his physical presence, which would have been pretty obvious if he was trying to insert himself between the two front seats,” the driver added.

The driver testified on Nov. 7, 2022 — months after Hutchinson’s blockbuster testimony — and the transcript was never publicly released due to an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security over its internal review of the transcripts, according to the 81-page report released Monday by the House Administration subcommittee on oversight. DHS only recently provided committee investigators with the redacted transcript, along with five other redacted transcripts, after the subcommittee initially demanded all transcripts be turned over last summer. The department is still reviewing six transcripts from Secret Service agents with firsthand knowledge of Jan. 6, 2021, according to the report. . . "

I'm not a big fan of WaPo or the NYT, but at least they make an effort to update stories and information, even if no one ever hears it or see it because it is on page twenty.

IMO, Snopes has no incentive to do that. Most sane folks don't generally take them that seriously.

Points On The Board In Michigan: Expert Says Magic Johnson Delivered A Slam Dunk.

Vice President Kamala Harris got a major boost Friday when basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson delivered an energetic endorsement of the Democratic nominee in his home state, a political analyst said.

Johnson, an outspoken critic of the Trump administration, has potential to put more voters in Harris' column in the crucial swing state of Michigan, MSNBC's Ari Melber said.

"You don't have to be a Michigan politics expert or a basketball expert to know that Magic Johnson puts points on the board in Michigan and many other states, as people hear about this," said Melber. "It draws people in."

Melber noted Johnson's support only adds to a growing number of endorsements Harris and her running mate Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) have received from celebrities such as pop star Taylor Swift and Republican politicians such as former Rep. Liz Cheney.

. . . and this? Is the problem with hyper-partisans.

If you can't figure it out, you don't have a clue how things work.

Donald Trump gets crushing surprise news as four prominent ex-MAGA Republican women join forces to campaign against him in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Liz Cheney and former Trump aides, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Cassidy Hutchinson, and Sarah Matthews are determined to crush him.

They'll hold a fireside chat in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, next week. A source told CNN that the four women will "offer a warning about the threat Donald Trump poses to democracy and the rule of law."

They'll also stress "the need for independents, moderates, and Republicans to stop him from getting back in office."

The event will almost certainly be the first of many that the four Republicans will hold in battleground states.

Great news! Thank you ladies! What do you think?

I've only heard of Cheney, and that's because of her dad.

FEMA is doing more than $750 for the hurricane victims.

It is as much the fault of Congress as the President.

". . . A relatively paltry $4 million has been paid directly to families and individuals in the week since Hurricane Helene ravaged the Southeast, killing at least 202 people and causing severe flooding damage from Florida to North Carolina, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Thursday. . . So what? Never heard of them, but they are prominent? Come to think of it, horse face hasn't done any interviews but I would call her prominent, in a DEI sense.

uh-huh .... whatever.

the obvious point was if they have done & are currently doing interviews across networks & cable, it is because they have been in the whitehouse & have witnessed behavior on the part of key members of the trump regime AND have testified under oath to both the select committee AND the DOJ... then ...uh.... yep, they are prominent individuals in this here scheme carried out by yer chosen one et al.

FEMA's allocation of whatever funds within that agency for migrants is a totally separate entity than from disaster relief.

AND scores & scores of (R)s voted against funding FEMA -ironically many who voted against the funding are now accusing FEMA of having low funds. what hypocrites. i can't seem to find any list of (D)s who wouldn't fund it.

can you? from a credible unbiased source? otherwise, don't use a blanket ' both sides are to blame' if you can't find them.

Hurricane Helene: Rumor Response

Rumor: FEMA does not have enough money to provide disaster assistance for Helene.

Fact:

FEMA has enough money right now for immediate response and recovery needs. If you were affected by Helene, do not hesitate to apply for disaster assistance as there is a variety of help available for different needs.
October 3, 2024

Rumor: Funding for FEMA disaster response was diverted to support international efforts or border related issues.

Fact:

This is false. No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts. Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.
October 3, 2024

Rumor: FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.

Fact:

This is false.
This is a type of assistance that you may be approved for soon after you apply, called Serious Needs Assistance. It is an upfront, flexible payment to help cover essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify for to receive and Serious Needs Assistance is an initial payment you may receive while FEMA assesses your eligibility for additional funds. As your application continues to be reviewed, you may still receive additional forms of assistance for other needs such as support for temporary housing, personal property and home repair costs. If you have questions about your disaster assistance application and what you qualify for, contact us at 1-800-621-3362 to speak with a FEMA representative in your language.

I find it funny that Liz Cheney voted with repubs on like everything, then she goes against Trump, and now she’s a darling to the left.

So, if it hadn’t been for the Trump ordeal, she would be right there voting shoulder to shoulder with repubs.
