Former Trump press secretary says he showed classified documents to people on Mar-a-Lago dining patio

As I said "public disclosure" is the least formal procedure that can be used. Other procedures have to be in accordance with the presidential EO on national security.

The president is free to write a new EO, in which he can use a different procedure, like thinking about it, or giving standing orders, but Trump failed to do so, and is bound by the current presidential EO in place. Which dictates the procedures.

Waving to table mates is NOT "public disclosure".
He has the authority to do public disclosure, but he can selectively share with any individuals he wants, and that is not "public disclosure".
The term "public disclosure" means you have declassified and allowed everyone to see it.
Which by the way. is what eventually is supposed to happen to all classified docs eventually.
It is based on the transparency issue FOIA is based on.

Biden took multi million dollar bribes, and all you brain damaged drones still support him

I expect bribes, so that does not bother me.
It is the illegal economic sanctions imposed on the Russians and the illegal arming of the Ukraine that eventually has to start WWIII, that bothers me.

If he opened fire on his own people at a rally, they'd still worship him.

They'd think up an excuse for sure.

So far, Trump did much better than Biden.
Trump was right about covid.
Trump started no wars, but Biden was in on expanding Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and the Ukraine.
Trump was right about stealing our technology.

There is more bad news for Trump. It might be a lie. But we do know that people have not told the truth, and yet they are not held accountable. Was it Hope Hicks that lied?
This is troubling, as information may have been leaked. Something needs to change to ensure nothing like this can happen again.
It is worthy of discussion as Classified documents are the "Nations Secrets". Yet again, this may be just a lie. Either way it will all come out in the wash as they say.

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said Saturday that she saw former President Trump show classified documents to people at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

“I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio,” Grisham, who served as Trump’s chief spokesperson from July 2019 to April 2020, said in an interview on MSNBC. “So, he has no respect for classified information, never did.”

Trump was right about covid.
Feb. 26, 2020: “Because of all we’ve done, the risk to the American people remains very low. … When you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero. That’s a pretty good job we’ve done."

Premature ejaculations of success. Mission Accomplished!

“Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. ... And this is their new hoax.”

No one is going to forget Trump called this pandemic a hoax.

“We’re the number one travel destination anywhere in the world, yet we have far fewer cases of the disease than even countries with much less travel or a much smaller population.”

Point out to a Trump supporter today that we had the most cases and the most deaths in the world and watch them spin, spin, spin.

“With approximately 100,000 CoronaVirus cases worldwide, and 3,280 deaths, the United States, because of quick action on closing our borders, has, as of now, only 129 cases (40 Americans brought in) and 11 deaths.”

Quick action? Not allowing SOME Chinese to come here, and then doing NOTHING for the next two months. How'd that work out?

“We did an interview on Fox last night, a town hall. I think it was very good. And I said: ‘Calm. You have to be calm. It’ll go away.' ”

Magical thinking. Trump's favorite activity.

March 7: “We’re doing very well and we’ve done a fantastic job.”

Mission Accomplished!

“So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!”

Trump would be in even deeper trouble if his followers actually started thinking.

March 10: “And it hit the world. And we’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.”

Victory! Mission Accomplished!

March 29: “So you’re talking about [worst-case scenarios of] 2.2 million deaths, 2.2 million people from this. And so if we could hold that down, as we’re saying, to 100,000 — it’s a horrible number, maybe even less — but to 100,000. So we have between 100 and 200,000, and we altogether have done a very good job."

Mission Accomplished!

May 14: “If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases.”

Stunning illogic. Read that statement over and over until it sinks in just how fucked this kind of idiocy is.

This was actually Trump's strategy for the first two months after our first case in the US. Don't test anybody. Let it spread uncontained so we have no idea where it is and where it is going. That is when Trump became a mass murderer.

“When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases.” - Donald Trump, stable genius.

This is a guy who stored our nation's secrets in a ballroom which had tens of thousands of visitors.

And, of course, he showed off a Top Secret document to a couple of biographers who had no need to know and no security clearance.

And he is on tape doing it.

Biden had thousands of documents stored in his garage for years, and you don't give a crap about that. He also had a bunch stored in a building funded by the communist Chinese. These documents were retained when Biden had no authority to declassify anything, and you think we're supposed to take your whining about Trump seriously?

Wrong.
The lethality of 0,02% and the infectiousness R0 of 2.0 is about identical to seasonal flu.
You get about 30k dead per month.
The mistake we made was by Fauci, "flattening the curve".
I understand why he did it, he wanted to wait for the vaccines, and the early lethality estimates were way too high, like 1%.
But Fauci was wrong and Trump was right.
The asymptomatic made the lethality look much higher than it really was, since we did not count the asymptomatic.
And the mRNA vaccines turned out to be total bombs, and killed more than it helped.

And by the way, you are misquoting Trump with the last one, where he was stressing the importance or more broad testing.

Wrong.
The ballroom has no visitors at all while the boxes were there,.
Only 71 of the 15,000 docs were classified.
Even those were totally obsolete.
And they soon got moved to a more secure basement.
And the main point is that it was totally his call and no one else gets any say.

Trump fought the Archives for over a year, and then finally turned over SOME boxes. He did not allow a search. Biden did allow a search

Trump is not being charged for the boxes he turned over.

And that is where all comparisons to other people ends.

I disagree.
First of all, there is nothing at all illegal about contesting an election.
Especially since we have seen totally stolen elections, like 2000.
And no one should ever be allowed to use a voting computer, which is not only networked, but easily hacked, and the maker refuses to even have its code audited.

He's insecure. Trump was showing off. He was trying to impress the other diners on the patio.

That is true, but it also is perfectly legal.
The only chain of command comes from the president, and he can give himself all the copies of classified docs he wants.
No one else gets any say.
It has always been that way, and will always have to remain that way.

Wrong.
Since Trump was president at one time, there no longer than is any legal restrain on him concerning classified docs made during his administration.
None.

With Biden, Pence, and Hillary, they had no security clearance and were not president or VP at the time, so then committed a felony just having any classified docs, (unless given to them arbitrarily by a president).
