Former President Jimmy Carter Dead

You meant to say you're butthurt because it wasn't turned into another shithole Soviet puppet state.

Except that wasn't really the issue.

The issue was a country trying to assert control of it's own resources, and the US staging a coup to prevent democracy.

So the USSR is gone now, but the Iranians still hate us with a passion.

Except that didn't happen; the Soviets weren't allowed to rig the election, like you wished.

The Soviets didn't really care about Iran by that point.

They pulled out in 1946 and weren't interested.

The US decided that BP was more important than Democracy in Iran, and today we have the Ayatollahs spreading chaos across the middle east.

They pulled out to avoid getting their asses whipped, and moved on to making a play for other countries, like South Korea. Their military was depleted and exhausted by their heavy losses and no more aid was coming from the U.S. for them to fight a real war with. The U.S. saved Iran from a cruel fate.

I think you are a little confused, buddy. Iran was never seen as a major concern for the USSR, it was too remote. The only reason why they were interested in it during WWII was that's how the Lend Lease was getting into the country because the Axis had most of the other routes blocked.

Yeah, they occupied half of it because they had no interest in keeping it. ...

What a dumbass. If Lend-lease was all they were concerned about, they would have been fine with a British occupation while they used those forces against the Germans. You really can't think straight.

They occupied half of it because they needed it for transit.

Once the war was over, they left.

Come on, guy, this McCarthyite bullshyte isn't going to work.

BP didn't want to give up their cash cow. We ended up getting the Ayatollahs. Once they get the bomb, they'll drop it on the Zionists, and pretty much end of the world after that.

Your own link says they did not leave until forced out and bribed and then they left communist Governments in place to **** with the Iranians.

Ohh so your ignorant lies about how the soviets just left aren't important?

What lie?

They left in 1946. They tried to leave pro-soviet local governments, but they weren't that committed to them, the way they were committed to new Communist government in Eastern Europe.

The fact was, Iran was only important to the Soviets in WWII as a route for Lend Lease supplies. After the war, they didn't need them anymore.

they ONLY left after being driven out.

Big problem with that lie......Biden refused to adhere to the terms of the agreement.
A stupid lie, save for giving an extension to the deadline date so more Americans and friendlies could leave. You're always so completely full of shit.

15th post
no you did not it clearly states the allies threatened Soviets and when that didn't work they bribed them.
