They didn't take it from us, silly one! American Companies/businesses CHOSE to manufacture or buy their goods, from the foreign country and NOT the USA.

Unless that foreign country or foreign manufacturer is doing some sort of cheating and unfair free trade practice, the foreigner is not to blame. The American Business buying from them is who made that decision that it was better for their business bottom line, to go over seas.

Since it's us, that ends up paying the higher price of the goods due to the tariff, the American business that chose to go overseas, doesn't really get hurt. Sure, due to higher price consumer resistance, sales of units sold may go down but the higher price on fewer units can still come to the same sales volume and profit margin, as they were making with a cheaper retail but more units sold.

Only WE THE PEOPLE, are the ones that unnecessarily get hurt in the wallet.

Why not just force the American business to manufacture their products here, somehow? And leave us citizens out of this Willy nilly game of gradually hoping, to push them back in to coming home to make their stuff....
