General Clark was very much correct. The U.S. had no intention of staying out of the Middle East. Because of the Shrub's obsession on both Afghanistan and Iraq, both Pakistan AND Iran were able to begin nuclear research. Now, over 20+years later suddenly, as if by magic Iran is now, ""Months if not weeks away a nuclear bomb, even Iran has been in same status for over 10-Years.
