I guess all the rending of garments was premature.

Remember boys and girls Trump is doing this for us.

I hope they gave him a few hundred million dollars and a share in the companies out of gratitude. That's the going rate, isn't it?

So, you are opposed to the addition of a few hundred million dollars into the US treasury? Strange.

Of course, you are going to lie and say that the money would go directly to Trump. Why not spare us that lie?

This country didn't turn into a dysfunctional and debt ridden and self-loathing collection of people overnight, and it won't be fixed overnight. One man didn't do this to us and one man can't fix it in 4 years even if the people benefitting from the corruption weren't fighting the cure. It is a step in the right direction whether you perceive it that way or not. We're addicted to state sponsored fear and government cheese but if we can stick it out, we will all be better people and a better nation.

I think the expected inflows to the US treasury will be many billions of dollars per year. Yeah the disinformation campaign about tariffs is really impressive even for the masters of disinformation, the Democrats.

The blowhard's erratic on-again-off-again tariffmania has his bum kissers confused.

Trump’s bid Friday to soothe consumers by dropping tariffs on a wide array of groceries, including coffee, beef, bananas and tomatoes — contradicting his repeated claims that the levies were not affecting retail prices — shows he is on the defensive over his signature policy initiative.
Public opposition, eroding support on Capitol Hill and a potentially lethal challenge before the Supreme Court have Trump scrambling to defend his economic strategy...
