He was deployed as part of operation Enduring freedom, in Europe, providing base security. Unless you have other information you and the person in the clip are misinformed or lying.

He trained troops.It was a military support group. Necessary to the force. He served . He did his job. You assholes probably never did serve. Couldn't access your source without paying. Looked up CNN says trump falsely claimed crime was going up when in fact most crime is down last year , Including murder which saw one of the largest drops ever. That's what came up. So can only assume it was higher during trump's presidency.
You know Vance worked in the Public Affairs office when he served... He never served in a an active war himself and had no fear of doing so either, he was a military journalist (and not the war corresponded kind)...unlike suckers and losers comment this stolen valor has mountains of evidence.

Well making it sound like you are a combat veteran while you served in the Public Affairs department of the Marine Corps as a combat reporter.
