Belief in the supernatural is intrinsic for most.

Which is fine.

What I don’t comprehend is the level of effort expended to convince other people in your particular brand of supernatural.

Then you need to read up. No, Darwin did not think the single common ancestor was a banana.
I own Darwins book. Say, have you read it too?

Before Darwin came the microscope and a different man saw bacteria. Do you honestly think your ancestor was a cyanobacteria?

Yep! But I don't think you have.

"Therefore I should infer from analogy that probably all the organic beings which have ever lived on this earth have descended from some one primordial form, into which life was first breathed."

He wasn't talking about bananas or squirrels.

Does not matter what you think.

Which is why I made sure to include the quote from the book you did not read.
I have read a lot of Darwin's book since I have owned it for years. It does not allege animals, plants and more came to earth as bacteria. He knew about bacteria at the time.

It definitely alludes either to bacteria or something before bacteria.

Darwin wasn't an idiot.

Robert laughed.

I guess he thinks that after a couple hundred billion years (6,000 years ago), God saw this one Planet out of the trillions and trillions of planets out there and decided to plant living monuments to himself on it.

Sure. That sounds likely
NOPE!!! But you believe plants, animals and all living life came to earth as bacteria.

One Trick Pony

It must be very frustrating to embarrass yourself by talking endlessly about a topic you know less than nothing about.

Not sure why you do it.

So, from what did first life evolve?

That's not a replacement theory ... take some biology classes ... a lot of biology classes ... you might be surprised how complicated it is to make DNA ... and then use that as a mRNA template to make proteins ...

You don't have to believe in evolution, all I'm asking is what you believe ... what causes inherited traits and why are they sometimes a little different? ...

You manage to live having done that very thing.

So according to you, what caused a sterile Earth to product plants, bacteria, DNA and animal life? Quote Darwin if you know his works.

Selection.

And its not "according to me". It's according to nearly everyone who bothers to learn anything about any of this and whose brain is not addled by bronze age mythology.

Not surprised at all. No one has made life. I guess I was addressing the subject of the thread.
