The LGBTQ+ community is trying to make American football its own nowadays.

I feel certain that any of the top Rugby teams would dispense with America youngsters so totally reliant on shades of body armour and protection for their simulated heroics .

What a massacre that would be .Men against boys .

Bit like when the pot puffing Americans were thrown out of Grenada by the locals .

The kid in your picture is biting the other guy's arm, dumb ass.

No he isn't dumb ass, he is breathing through his mouth. In 34 years I only DQ'd one Wrestler for biting.

Tangent: A main contributing factor in the dangerousness of football is the absurd amount of body and head protection they wear.

If helmets, shoulder pads and spikes were removed, the number of serious injuries would plummet. The players would immediately adapt. The way things are now, they hit each other as though they were invincible.

That makes it a different game ... I played nose tackle because I liked hitting people as hard as I can ... but only friends ... the guys (or girls) I'll be drinking beer with afterward ... very few of my injuries didn't heal before the next game ... we had great fun despite losing every game ... how good could we be with me at nose tackle? ... [giggle] ...

I think the NFL has been successful eliminating the head-hits ... without harming the game ... and I really like the relaxed rules on pass interference ... just a wonderful visual having players fight for the ball ...

That's what the NFL looks like through scarlet-and-gold glasses ...

Yep it is. My baseball coach sat me down my junior year and said. " You have no scouts coming to see you play football. You do have scouts in the stands at your baseball games. Maybe concentrate on baseball. " I took his advice. The guy that was my catcher was one of the top prospects in the nation at that position. He likely would have been a bonus baby. He was also our starting quarterback. He did get a football scholarship and went that direction. No NFL came calling on draft day. Tried to switch back to baseball but his body had just taken to much abuse . He retired as a detective in a medium sized city here in the state. A very respectable outcome but he has got to wonder about the route not taken.
