In the age of toxic and deadly production foods and drinks, we now have to be concerned with metal shavings, plastic, vermin parts, pesticides, and many other foreign objects in produced foods in the USA.

Why? Simply because of corporate greed. People needed for QC of said produced food products "cost too much". In other words, less money the executive branch gets to stuff into their pockets.

Here's the site if you want it.

It is a wonder, they catch and recall anything.
The specific number of food inspectors cut by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is not clearly stated, but the FDA has faced significant staffing reductions, including 170 staffers in its Office of Inspections and Investigations, which supports food safety inspections. Yes, I long for the day when all I had to worry about in my food was botulism, bugs, and rat excrement.

Those truly were the "Good Ol' Days"
