Pops thinks some businesses should be allowed to be bigots and others not.
Please provide the link to me saying such
You don't? You think the discriminated against should be able to sue over food or flowers equally?
Go back and read how I proposed the florist should have acted at the time of the sales negotiation and after INCLUDING accepting the fine.
Now, I'm waiting on the link.
Then why keep harping that it was "only flowers"? You keep intimating that there should different punishments if you own a grocery store and hate the gays or a flower shop and hate the gays. If you don't believe that, you shouldn't keep implying it.
No I'm laughing at people trying to make a floral arrangement, or the lack there of, a life changing event.
I said earlier that the florist, the baker, the photographer should have simply objected on religious grounds, but since the law is the law, supply the services and inform the customer that all profits of that sale would be donated to the most radical non profit fighting same sex marriage.
The ball is now in the customers court.
Seems a win/win to me.
Well that would be different. Because they would complain that they were being forced to endorse an event they have personal misgivings about.
OH SNAP!
And of course..they would be right.
Which is why we're right now. In this country it is still illegal to force a person to do homage at an altar he doesn't recognize or want to kneel before.
That means at the altar of homo love.
