This wouldn't have been an african history AP, but an african "studies" AP. Studies topics are so academically un-rigerous that any AP test would be based solely on opinions, and you had better have the right opinion to pass.

That is why "black lives matter" is a pre-emptive racist statement: it reifies itself at the expense of all other races, which should be both taboo and counteracted in a vibrant democracy.

A logical counterpoint would be that African history (rather than Black history) should be taught. But that wouldn't fit in with your predisposed narrative.

You are painting DeSantis as anti black history, but that isnt true. He was very clear about where the line is drawn. If you are teaching ideology, then it isnt allowed. Did you hear any of his examples?

They were trying to shoe horn gay theories and studies into a program about black history. That is obviously ideological and has nothing to do with black history.
