Florida Man Sentenced To 5 Years After Attacking 6 Officers On Jan. 6

According to the testimony he thought he was on an outstanding warrant.
So in your book the police can just break your wrist if they think you have an outstanding warrant without even knowing your name.

But we are the ones who are supportive of "Stasi and Gestapo".

Was he pointing the rifle at the cops when he was shot? Nope. He was kneeling on the floor scared shitless because the cops were threatening to kill him for any little mistake, which they did when he thought he could pull his pants up. He posed no threat.

Meanwhile Babbitt was part of a violent mob who had stormed the capitol and were breaking into the last fallback position they had left. But apparently she wasn't a threat.
The last fallback position? :lmao: Please the drama is as deep as the bullshit.

He was being arrested, you don't get to not follow commands because you are drunk and stupid.

At least he was in the process of being arrested, Babbit didn't even get that chance.

Evidently they can't, because the city settled for 350K

What do you want to do, shoot him for it?

it's amazing you are too stupid to differentiate between political policing and crimes, and plain old criminal policing and crimes.

Dems love the former, and dismiss the latter as somehow unfair.

He wasn't being arrested because he didn't commit any crimes. If they wanted to arrest him, he was laying prone on the floor with his hands behind his back, they could have just walked up and cuffed him. He was no threat.

They would have loved to arrest Babbitt but that's not an option in the midst of a massive violent riot. You don't get to storm the capitol because you're in Trump's cult.

He was being arrested because he was under susception of brandishing a long rifle out a hotel window. That is a crime.

Plenty of options, since she was hanging halfway in and out a window.

The cop sure as hell can because he gets promoted and faces no consequences. You like cops that break people's wrists for no reason? That's a good cop to you?

Let me know when the cop faces any actual consequences for assaulting a person for no reason. This asshole actually got rewarded.

Your paranoid victim complex makes you think there is political policing and crimes. We are talking about actual misconduct not hurting some right wing lunatic’s feewings.

It wasn't even a long rifle, so hard to see how it was a crime to brandish something that's not even a gun.

She wasn't "hanging", she was coming through the window. Committing an actual felony. Not responding to commands.

You say "hanging" in a window.
I say "charging" at police who had warned her not to.
Not a MENSA move on the now dead attacker's part.

May her parent's find peace and a respite from the RWNJ fringies who insist on dragging her bloody corpse across the internet in their uber-partisan fantasies.

It's sad.
Bigly.

He didn't do it intentionally, unlike Byrd who intentionally shot to kill a woman halfway through a window.

Plenty of police face consequences.

Stop stealing my insult, dipshit, can you even come up with your own are you too much of an NPC for that?

It looked like one. That's all that matters when the situation is ongoing.

She wasn't charging anything. hanging in a window.

You're a twat.

Smaly, like your pecker.

He didn’t bodyslam the guy intentionally? Don’t be a dick. Of course he did. He didn’t intend to break his wrist? He should have thought of that before becoming violent.

He didn’t face consequences for physically assaulting a man for absolutely no reason. He was rewarded.

Where was the local board that’s supposed to handle this?

He was unarmed when he was blasted by that cop, posing absolutely no danger to anyone, and could have easily been arrested when laying on the ground face down.

Babbitt was in a violent riot, breaking through a window, not responding to commands from police.

Babbitt was a far greater threat than Shaver but you’re okay with him being shot because you are a political hack who needs to attack the Capitol Police and defend the criminals in your tribe.

Well, your videos may show you something different than the ones I viewed.

Here's what I saw:

A group of attackers violently battering at doors intentionally closed and barricaded to keep those same violent attackers from grabbing, injuring, or killing our elected Representatives sheltering behind those doors.

The attackers with their battering created a breach in that barricade. Police, on the other side, shouted commands for the attackers to cease, to back away, to leave. One brandished a gun as a warning. The attackers saw the gun and shouted an alarm. But......

But despite the warnings, one attacker did not back away, did not leave, ........instead.......that attacker leaped towards the police with body and hands obscured under a shroud and a suspicious backpack strapped to the attacker's back.

The police towards whom the attacker was charging took a 'stand-your-ground' stance, and defensively fired at the figure charging through the violently breached opening towards him and the sheltering Representatives.

Ashli Babbitt is dead because of......Ashli Babbitt.

May her family find peace and respite from QAnon & MAGA partisans constantly dragging her bloody corpse across the internet as their way of signaling their fringie extremism.

He didn't break they guys wrist intentionally, he was trying to subdue the suspect, not kill him like Byrd was.

Police have to use force sometimes.

They must have decided it wasn't a bad maneuver, but got overruled by the city who then paid out.

he was ignoring orders. Cops were worried he would pull a concealed weapon while they approached him.

He was known to have a firearm.

So now the cops can just line up and open fire on any protest that becomes a riot? Good to know.
