This was the answer that you ignored

You should start a thread about international airlines.

We are the strongest nation in the world, and we have always been home to many languages.
You’re a dumb ass, so you probably don’t know that according to the Florida state constitution, English is the official language of Florida and all official business is to be conducted in English.

FALSE! For most of my life, the US has been home to ONE language - American English. It is only within the past 30 years, that we have seen foreign language telephone recordings, voting ballots in various languages, cab drivers & Walmart clerks who cannot do their jobs due to inability to speak English, and now even TV commercials in Spanish & Chinese.

Those harmful & idiotic multiculturalisms have degraded the USA from being a NATION, and turned it into a tangled, mish-mash of people unable to communicate with each other. 🇧🇷🇨🇺🇮🇷🇬🇹🇭🇳🇭🇹🇪🇹🇸🇻🇪🇬🇪🇨🇩🇴🇨🇷🇭🇷🇨🇺🇷🇺🇷🇼🇷🇴🇸🇾🇨🇳🇨🇩🇨🇴🇨🇬🇷🇼🇵🇾🇵🇪🇵🇭🇵🇹🇵🇷🇶🇦🇵🇰🇵🇸🇰🇷🇸🇴

NATION- a stable, historically developed community of people, with a territory, economic life , DISTINCTIVE CULTURE & LANGUAGE in common.

It used to be that you needed to know German in central Texas.

South of San Antonio there are ten generations if Texans that speak Spanish.

Yes , but the pathological fraudster & narcissistic liar issued Executive Order 14224, declaring English the official language of the United States. If this is still in need of Congressional approval aka valid, I wouldn't know.

Maybe the Jewish American lobby will push Hebrew as a 2nd valid official language :eusa_shhh:

BTW, is it true that German being the official language, lost out by one vote somewhere around 1776?

In the U.S. English is the language we use in every aspect of our society.

Yeah ? I'm part Mexican. I speak Spanish desde mil novacientos ochenta y nueve (1989). I lived in Mexico (Villahermosa, Tabasco) for 5 years. So what does any of this have to do with what I posted in Post # 176 ?

Well its a problem. There are hundreds of thousands of Spanish speakers in Florida. Inversely Florida Man can't read to begin with. :auiqs.jpg:
The Spanish speakers need to do what my mother's family did when they arrived in the US in 1929 - learn English or don't drive.

It notes the US is a tapestry of languages. You will know that if you were an actual American.

But you're actually a bot, so thats ok.

The US being a tapestry of languages doesn't negate the definition of what is a NATION, as I posted in post # 339. Having many languages is a major DEFECT that takes away from a nation being just that.

As stated previously, in order for a place to be a actual NATION, it must have a distinctive language & culture...."a" meaning ONE, not a tapestry,or whatever else you might like to call it.

And I've been a poster here in USMB for 12 years, ...it doesn't give you any points to call me a bot.

Many NATIONS are home to more than one language. Most, in fact.

Doesn't make them a valid, viable, worthy nation. The more languages they have, the less a NATION they are. Ho hum.

PS - this OP has 10 positive ratings. Not 1 negative.

That means nothing on this board.

Its weird, both Florida had and Texas has tests in Spanish as well, and it never seemed to be a problem. Why is it a problem now?

The United States IS a valid, viable, worthy nation and we are home to a great many languages.
It is diminished by a mess of different languages, residents unable to understand each other. And some driving cars unable to read road signs, like illegal alien truck driver Harjinder Singh, who made an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike in August 2025, and killed three people.

Did you read the OP ? It's link ?

Democrats: PLEASE come in here now and tell us this is "racist", or conspiracy something, or some hare-brained
"phobic" word. Come on now. I'm sure you can think of something to rule the narrative (you think) while dismantling every bit of common sense.

On the other hand, maybe they do a departure from their usual La La land wackadoodles, and actually agree that this is a good idea and LONG OVERDUE.

Should be interesting. :)

Those in California that gave singh a licence should be jailed for the three deaths.
