They voted 14 times on the same proposal. You mean other than the 14 different proposals?
Republicans want the government to reopen, don’t they?Bingo! That's exactly what I've been saying of the vile dems.
The only thing that the vile dems are getting is more air traffic delays.
People see the Republicans doing nothing to end the shut down.On on the vile dem's terms? Nah.
LOL....What happened to all that "leverage" you people claimed to have?![]()
The Prog party is used to getting its way. You will change the filibuster if you come to power again. If the Republicans do not do it first. You will add judges to the Supreme Court. Your agendas will get you thrown out of power again. Then you will skewer the Republicans incessantly for trying to stabilize the system and then win again.Republicans want the government to reopen, don’t they?
Democrats priorities are clear. Screw the safety of US citizens, Obamacare subsidies are more important.FAA ordering a cutback of flights by 10% due to the Shutdown. Just in time for the Thanksgiving Season.

FAA reducing air traffic by 10% across 40 'high-volume' markets during government shutdown
The Federal Aviation Administration says it plans to reduce air traffic by 10% across 40 “high-volume” markets beginning Friday morning to maintain safety during the ongoing government shutdown.apnews.com
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday that it was taking the extraordinary step of reducing air traffic by 10% across 40 “high-volume” markets beginning Friday morning to maintain travel safety as air traffic controllers exhibit signs of strain during the ongoing government shutdown.
The cutback stands to impact thousands of flights nationwide because the FAA directs more than 44,000 flights daily, including commercial passenger flights, cargo planes and private aircraft. The agency didn’t immediately identify which airports or cities will be affected but said the restrictions would remain in place as long as necessary.
“I’m not aware in my 35-year history in the aviation market where we’ve had a situation where we’re taking these kinds of measures,” FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford said at a news conference.
Air traffic controllers have been working unpaid since the shutdown began Oct. 1, and most have been on duty six days a week while putting in mandatory overtime. With some calling out of work due to frustration, taking second jobs or not having money for child care or gas, staffing shortages during some shifts have led to flight delays at a number of U.S. airports.
Bedford, citing increased staffing pressures and voluntary safety reports from pilots indicating growing fatigue among air traffic controllers, said he and U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy did not want to wait until the situation reached a crisis point.
I just hope the vile dems are dumb/stubborn enough to let it continue.
I agree Duffy is doing a good job. Putting safety over $. Our air traffic controllers are also courageous and brave. Incredibly hard working dedicated people. All of them.Sean Duffy is doing an excellent job as Transportation Secty, IMHO. He's been warning of this and keeping a close eye on our air traffic situations. Airports are more crowded but not insane yet.
Unlike that guy who was too busy pretending he could breastfeed his babies when our supply chain went haywire and nobody had noticed he was gone.
Yeah, the Schumer Shutdown is affecting both democrats and republicans alike. It is sad.My extended & immediate family have all canceled all their airline tickets & plans through Thanksgiving out of fear of spending the holiday trapped in an airport. Thanksgiving has always been our largest gathering of the year. 138 family members airline flights affected.
For Thanksgiving travel week 2025, expect a significant increase in travel, with the busiest days being Wednesday, November 26, and Sunday, November 30.
Meh, I don't see the dems playing chicken with Thanksgiving given the delays that will be hitting them like gut punches for the next couple weeks.

Has anyone seen Republicans doing anything to end the shutdown?
That didn’t pass the Senate. They passed the 2mo CR.
Why do those votes keep failing?
So they’re just going to keep doing the thing that hasn’t worked for weeks?
I think that demonstrates the incompetence of the Republican Party. They don’t understand how to govern.
