Flashback July 2021: Biden Says Inflation Temporary, Transitory Despite Spending Trillions We Don’t Have

6 of the top economic nations have lower inflation.

India
Russia.

Great we just beat them.

Barely.
Which of the “top economic nations” has a better GDP growth?

Easy to have a high GDP when you’re printing trillions you don’t have.

Economics 101
We aren’t printing trillions. We actually contracted the money supply in the last year and a half.

You guys really need to think critically about your narrative because it fails the reality test.

$4.439 trillion
You’re confusing deficits with money supply.

Running deficits does stimulate the economy. That’s why Trump never had any intention of balancing the budget, and neither do congressional republicans whenever they think they could get blame for the slowing economy.

Thats why they passed a massive tax cut for no reason in 2017.

“CBO’s current projections show a federal budget deficit of $1.5 trillion for 2023—which is $0.1 trillion more than the agency estimated in February.”

Like I said, deficits are different than money supply. You’re confusing them. They’re not the same.

Printing $1.5 trillion a year that we don’t have.
That’s not printing money. That’s borrowing money, from people. It doesn’t expand the money supply. In fact, there’s an economic cost to the government soaking up investment that could go elsewhere.

Pure delusion.
