January 26, 2021:

Since assuming office last Wednesday, President Joe Biden has been busy issuing more than two dozen executive decisions that will profoundly affect domestic affairs and foreign policies. Among his foreign polices directives, two decisions stand out. They’ll benefit Russia at the expense of the interests of our allies, American workers, and America’s national security.

The first executive decision that benefits Russia was Biden’s executive order to rescind the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. The Keystone project plans to build a 1,200-mile pipeline from Alberta, Canada to Nebraska, where it would join existing pipelines so 830,000 daily barrels of oil from Canada can easily reach refineries and ports on the Gulf Coast. From there, they could be exported conveniently to the rest of the world market.

Which wouldn't have pumped a drop of oil out of hard-to-extract-from tar sands for years. But you go get all just and righteously outraged about it while you swallow alt-right media's constant braying about "energy independent"..which this country hasn't been..for a long time. :)

Here is a very fair write up. Educate yourself...if you care.

Yeah, private companies wanted to spend billions on something to sit idle.
You are truly a special kind of useful idiot.

XL Pipeline cancellation and an Open Border. A recipe for disaster and a nation that is being overrun and set up to fail. Most frightening, the world may not have even seen the worst results due to the weakening of America and her sovereignty.

Americas enemies could hardly have enacted worse policies if they themselves wrote them. Kudos to Amercas enemies for outsmarting and ensuring these failed policies would be in place all with applause from MSM. Been wrote about so much over the last 30 years.

There is a reason Putin decided to invade another nation at this juncture. I have a feeling, it's going to get worse over the next three years...

And I guess you missed the fact that it would have been years before that pipeline extension pumped a drop of oil...all at increased prices in all probability. It's really sad what you idiots have brought this country down to. :)

This project has been in the work for over a decade, with massive expenses, rerouting, improved methods/approvals etc.

America Last Hillary, a gem of a leader and potentially your next president in 2024 (I'm sure some are salivating at this prospect), also put the kibosh on this, even as it received approval from an environmental report.

Honestly, if the West wants to know why could see WWIII and the end of civilization, look no further than the bought and sold political class. All of the West have plenty of plastic politicians, fewer and fewer leaders who operate on common sense and for the benefit of their nation.

Here is a key decision from the mansion living Obama:

Jan. 29, 2015: The U.S. Senate approves a bill to build Keystone XL, but the White House says Obama would veto it.

Feb. 24, 2015: Obama vetoes the bill.

Anyone who believes that cancelling a pipeline in Canada while buying millions of barrels from nations who have horrible human right records (not that Canada is great in this regard) and worse environmental records is a poltical patsy.

Clearly, this decision is political as it might put money in the pockets of certain Parties, to hell with whats right for Americans. Now the West reaps what is sows as Putins war machine takes traction.

A look at the history of the Keystone XL pipeline expansion

2020 wasn't that long ago.

Didnt need to link that because everyone's memory should be good enough they can remember reasonable utility rates in their home, 0 talk of a energy crisis and cheap gas pump prices, I know I do.

And if Obama and Biden hadn’t halted construction it would be done now. Thanks for pointing that out.

You are trying to kill millions of Americans if not exterminating them. We owed deep blue areas nothing. Defend yourselves.

Read more carefully. Wow. The lack of understanding of how things work in the oil market is just stunning.
Lack of understanding from you on how oil gets from a to b.

Oh shit. Another pipeline is going to kill us all.......lmao

So liberal logic 101, less of something equals more?

First your simpleton view is wrong! But let's examine your often used justification for banning and canceling fossil fuel exploration and infrastructure. Asshole Dems were using that justification 30 years ago, and 25, 20, 15, 10 years ago and today. How much energy production would be online today if not for asshole Dems? OH SNAP!

Oil company execs testified before congress and told them what the impact of their war on oil would bring, go watch it on youtube because it describes the sky high gas prices we are seeing now.

The left think rail is safe and environmentally friendly.

The right thinks pipelines never leak or burst.....

BTW how much did Canadian production drop when Biden Reversed Trumps EO.
