Whether in its Czarist, Bolshevik , or Putinist iterations, Moscow imperialism has had some characteristics:
1) Moscow geostrategy is underpinned by the zero-sum thinking (in other words, for Moscow to gain, another country has to lose).
2) Moscow attitude towards other countries has always been "what's ours is ours, and what's yours is negotiable."
3) Any peace or ceasefire agreements Moscow signs are not permanent, but merely a pause till the next opportunity for Moscow ulus to strike. To do this, Moscow invokes some specious pretext to unilaterally renounce whatever treaty it signed.
