First night of GOP convention delivers nearly six times more views than start of Democrats' event...

Some idiot in here is claiming the DNC convention did better than the RNC convention is doing. The facts say otherwise:

C-SPAN's livestream of the first night of the Republican National Convention has attracted nearly 440,000 views, marking a substantial increase over the start of the Democratic National Convention, which drew 76,000 views.
The numbers for Monday night come ahead of traditional TV ratings from Nielsen Media Research, which will be released on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Nielsen, 18.7 million people tuned in to the first night of the virtual Democratic convention from Milwaukee and Wilmington, Del., on Aug. 17, which featured speeches from former first lady Michelle Obama and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R)
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's speech on Thursday night was watched by 21.8 million people on TV, beating out the numbers for other major speeches at the party's convention earlier in the week.
Still, the numbers for Biden mark a 21 percent drop from presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's acceptance speech at the Democratic convention in 2016. They are also more than 38 percent lower than President Trump's acceptance speech at the Republican convention four years ago, which drew 34.9 million viewers.
The second night of the Republican convention will feature speeches from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and first lady Melania Trump, as well as President Trump's son Eric Trump.
Fucking moron, that's just one network. :eusa_doh:

Looking at all of the networks that carried the RNC and a different picture emerges...

  • DNC: 18.7m
  • RNC: 15.8m

Are you ever not a fucking moron?

Ever??? :ack-1:
You mean the fake news outlets? Republicans don't watch them.
LOLOLOL

Fucking moron, as if the forum needed more evidence you're a fucking moron. :eusa_doh:

Aside from the obvious that it matters not on which network it's watched since it's the same content regardless of the network it's on... same speakers, same speeches .... even if dumbass rightards would watch it on Cspan or Fox... 3 million more people watched the first night of the DNC than those who watched the first night of the RNC.

Are you ever not a fucking moron?

Ever??? :ack-1:

I know what an ad hominem is and so do you.
You clearly do not and really, really need to look it up before mangling it again.

You are an arrogant jackass.
And you still don't know what that term means.
And you're still an arrogant idiot.
Neat! But that still was not ad hominem, as I did directly address your point. So, it was really just mockery. Of you.

Everyone like to watch a train wreck.

I watched the RNC convention on C-Span. C-Span is the only network that lets the convention play out without commentary.

Other networks are loaded with bias and their presentation is skewed. I know it is not going to happen, but it would be interesting to see how much of each convention each media outlet showed.

Did Network A show 60% of 1 party & 80% of the 2nd?? Was commentary negative or positive??

In any case, if follows that truly undecided voters would watch c-Span while a decided voter would lean toward a media outlet that favored his position.
