I don’t know man. Seems like illegally retaining classified documents, obstructing justice, tampering with witnesses and attempting to destroy evidence is not really bullshit.

The election interference case is more difficult to discuss because it’s totally unprecedented, but it’s pretty clear that the classified documents case is obviously in need of prosecution.

It remains to be seen if it was illegal, or just a clerical oversight. Oh wait, Biden did the same thing.

Clerical oversight. Telling your folks to move around boxes of classified materials, and then get rid of the surveillance tapes that showed them doing it.

Is a clerical oversight after being sent a letter, and a subpoena for the documents, to ignore them, until they had to use a search warrant?

You sure? I doubt you’ve read much of the case documents. It showed Trump removing boxes from the storage room, letting his lawyer search the room, then putting the boxes back. The FBI come in to do a search, and would you believe it? They found more documents. Then we get the testimony from Trump’s tech guys that Trump’s cronies are telling him “the boss” wants that footage deleted after he gets a subpoena for it.

I don’t know man, that’s some real evidence there. Remember, you’re not very biased, so what do you think?

This assumes the President and his team are engaged in legitimate functions of the federal government. It has nothing to do with employees ordered to do something that is clearly illegal. And it allows for protection of employees who become whistleblowers re anything that is illegal.

Stephen Friend refused to follow what he believed to be an illegal order. An ACTUAL illegal order and not one that he thought should be illegal.

There should have been an honest investigation to determine if the order was in fact illegal. If it was he could be exonerated and those ordering an illegal act should have been disciplined. If not, the discipline imposed on Friend was proper however sympathetic we might be to his cause.
