I think that was the one that was going to shut down anyway.
I agree---the fat white guy was probably making another grilled cheese and shit went sideways. How could that have possibly happened? I'm at a loss here, things like this don't just "happen." There has to be some reason why this occurred.
Let me think for a bit, there must be a reasonable explanation.

You'll never get anyone to invest in one.Hopefully Trump steps in we need new refineries
Sure, that is why trump needs to step inYou'll never get anyone to invest in one.
It takes to long to get the equipment and construction costs are simply stupid.

projections are for reduced demand in the long term as we move towards more "green" stuff.Sure, that is why trump needs to step in
Who gives you projections, they are 100% wrongprojections are for reduced demand in the long term as we move towards more "green" stuff.
This is a monster refinery and Richmond is even bigger.
If they both go down.....holy crap.
They'll be importing from India.
I work in the industry.Who gives you projections, they are 100% wrong
Where exactly do you work, the projections are 100% wrongI work in the industry.
And no they are not.
Our capital spending is highly affected by what are perceived to be future demands.
How is it that we are converting high volume refineries into renewable diesel units (only making about 10% of what was made before) in this country. What do they not see that you seem to think you do see.
How many new refineries are being constructed or major expansion projects being undertaken?
It’s more likely a consequence of decades of running California’s refineries at over a hundred percent capacity. That was accomplished by cutting maintenance intervals. How could that have possibly happened? I'm at a loss here, things like this don't just "happen." There has to be some reason why this occurred.

Where is IM2? “The world wonders”.

I work in the oil refining industry.Where exactly do you work, the projections are 100% wrong
It's not viable given the alternatives. All across the world green energy has failed

You have me confused with someone else. I never said that. That would be stupid. Coal fired plants are being converted to natural gas on a regular basis. The biggest glaring error in your feelings you expressed is we dont use oil and gas to produce electricity.
My comments are restricted to liquid motor fuel production.Green energy produces almost no electricity
I work as a process engineer in an oil refinery.Start at the top, you attempted to qualify your remarks by making the claim that your job gave you insight.
