If the illegals can't get jobs most will leave . And if we also stop giving them freebies like welfare and free healthcare and free k-12, then ALL will leave. Getting these people to self-deport is easy. Take away the jobs and freebies.

Federal law has long prohibited the hiring of unauthorized workers. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is the enforcement posture. The Department of Homeland Security is now ramping up worksite crackdowns. Civil fines range from $716 to $28,619 per unauthorized worker, depending on whether it’s a first, second, or third offense. Paperwork violations tied to I-9 forms can cost between $288 and $2,861 per incident. These aren’t warnings. These are penalties. And they’re being handed out.
Criminal charges are no longer rare. Business owners who knowingly hire undocumented workers face up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. That’s federal statute. And it’s being enforced. ICE has already raided a meatpacking plant in Omaha. Dozens were arrested. In Los Angeles, garment factories and car washes were swept. In Phoenix, gas stations and construction sites are under review. The message is clear. No industry is off-limits.

Great this needs to happen. illegal aliens and their supporters always complain they are been deport even when they don't have a criminal record. all illegal aliens must be made to understand that all illegal aliens will lawfully be deported whether they have a criminal record or not and it does not matter how long they have been living illegally in the USA.

Good!

Not saying that they shouldn't be but wake me when a plant/site manager and who's doing the hiring is arrested.

Disingenuous thread title....Who has been arrested for hiring illegals? Nobody according to the article. Maybe it's a secret.

From a month ago -

“CCS Denver, Inc. was fined $6.2 million for hiring at least 87 unauthorized workers. When contacted by phone, they refused to make anyone available for comment.

PSC Commercial Cleaning Services, Inc. was fined $1.6 million for employing at least 12 unauthorized workers, according to ICE. CPR News could not find a business under that name registered in Colorado. Calls to companies with similar sounding names were not returned or disconnected numbers.

Green Management Denver: fined $270,195 for employing 44 unauthorized employees. A company matching that name was registered to do business in Colorado in 2014, but is listed as delinquent since 2022, and no phone number or contact information could be located.”

If corporations are people...shouldn't they be put in prison if they have illegals working for them?

If you're an illegal and you report your slave masters, you should get amnesty.

well you specifically YOU need to learn how to wipe your ass. lay off that illegal alien you hired to wipe your ass and do it yourself. it ain't that hard. it is not rocket science.

You are babbling. What a silly statement.

Bill Clinton enforced these laws. He charged and got Court Orders on over 1000 employers when he was in office.

Barack Obama enforced these laws. He got over 400 Orders in his first term, alone.

George W. Bush prosecuted employers:

From your link:

The border isn’t the only front. The real shift is happening behind storefronts and inside payroll departments. For decades, immigration enforcement focused on the worker. The guy with the shovel. The woman behind the counter. But now, the spotlight is swinging toward the people signing the checks. Employers. Business owners. The ones who’ve long operated in the shadows of accountability.

Criminal charges are no longer rare. Business owners who knowingly hire undocumented workers face up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. That’s federal statute. And it’s being enforced. Trump prosecuted 11 employers in his first administration.

So really the only President who has refused to prosecute employers up until now is Donald Trump.
