Files seized at Mar-a-Lago include material on foreign nation’s nuclear capabilities

The documents never belonged to Trump, they belong to the country.

Oh. Well then in that case, there is no case for Jan 6th. The building does not belong to the politicians, it belongs to the people who were let into it by the Capitol Police. There was no crime "parading" around the building--it belongs "to the country".

Gosh, that was easy.

Of course it does not belong to the politicians, just as the White House does not belong to whomever is president. They both belong to the country, but even public spaces/building still have rules and regulations.

And the rules about classified documents are: no one is above the president in the rule-making. Congress and the Supreme Court would be EQUAL. Unelected bureaucrats? Nope.

If so, I didn't read about it. In late 2019 there was a Chinese National with multiple passport IDs in and out of the place, but she was just a guest that got on the list somehow, until she was discovered.

That was Senator Feinstein.

DURRRRRR

The inventory of material taken out of Mar-a-Lago leaves in no doubt the importance of the documents discovered there. They included top secret and “sensitive compartmented information” (SCI) meaning there were restrictions on its circulation over and above its top secret status. It should normally only be in a special facility, a SCIF. A SCIF was established at Mar-a-Lago, but it operated as a secure facility only during the Trump presidency.
Nuclear or not, classified or not, Mar-a-Lago files spell out jeopardy for Trump

The SCIF used at Mara Lago during Trump's presidency was a temporary tent the size of a phone booth.

The documents Trump stole had a very high dollar value. Now Trump claims that he took them because he feared Joe Biden. So Trump's theft is Biden's fault.

A search warrant isn't carte blanche. They are very specific. The medical records and tax documents were illegally seized.

If college educated agents can't tell the difference between tax documents and medical records, from government documents, then they're too stupid to be FBI agents and should be fired immediately.

They were all mixed together. Security at Mara Lago is a joke.

You know this how?
"She" undoubtedly learned this by being a high-powered female oil executive in the middle east in 1950.

This is the reason "she" gives to add weight to all her other pronouncements, and you should listen to "her" because "she" has learned so much during her 107 years on Earth.

And again, we're stuck trying to reason with people who simply exist in another information universe. I've been told here that:
  • Those government documents at Mar-A-Lago belong to him. Personally.
  • He secretly blanket-declassified those government documents, so that's why it's okay he has them and refuses to return them.
  • Having highly-classified (and possibly nuclear-related) documents in random boxes and desks is no big deal.
  • The FBI tried to make it look like Trump threw those documents on the floor like that.
  • There is no reason for concern when a clearly-marked classified file has no documents in it.
As usual, there is just no response to this kind of thinking.

And do not forget that 563 days was not enough time to determine what was his and what was not...even though anything that was marked as classified was not his to keep no matter what

The rule is that all documents are turned over to the National Archives .. they belong to the office of the president not to the president. In fact the documents belong to the people of the United States..

You have elevated Trump to king in an absolute monarchy. Last time I looked you were bashing Queen Elizabeth and the British monarchy.

That was just a few hours ago. You said you despise monarchy because your ancestors (like my own) fought for the colonies during the Revolutionary War.

Oh and you forgot that it was also claimed he took them because we the people deserved to know what was in them, but again 563 days was not enough time for him to get around to telling us what we deserved to know.
